An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had a wonderful experience on my visit. Office is clean, and staff is very courteous and attentive. Making great use of technology. Offer online portal with my records and their equipment looked state of the art. Dr Cruz patient with all my questions, and his assistant Ivet was very efficient and made sure I was comfortable. Great team, including the desk staff. I had a few issues I need to work through with my teeth, but the team gave me the plan and confidence that I believe everything will turn out well. Was a great experience and I definitely would recommend this office.

Wow. I'm a big baby when it comes to the dentist but I had such a positive experience here! Matias Cruz did a deep cleaning for me and was so gentle and very thorough. Dr.Cruz did a wonderful job explaining everything and kindly worked with me financially so I could afford everything he suggested I have done. The staff overall is very kind and helpful. I am very happy with my visit and I will definitely keep coming back!

Do not go here. I tried to schedule my husband a simple cleaning and he sat in the office for an hour and a half while the dentist tried to sell an expensive protocol. The dentist would not clean his teeth unless he obliged. My husband had to walk out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This place is absolutely amazing! They scheduled my wife last minute because she was in excruciating pain, and let me tell you... they really exceeded our expectations! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any and all questions we had. They pulled her tooth that same morning and were very reasonable in regards to payment. I had a dental emergency & called Naples Smiles Dentistry & they got me an appt within 24 hours! Within 2 hours Dr. Cruz & Iderle Thelisma remedied my dental issue! I % would recommend to everyone Naples Smiles Dentistry for any & all dental needs! Both Dr. Cruz & Iderle were so kind, supportive & eased my anxiety & assured me that they were going to remedy my discomfort! & indeed they did! Iderle especially went above & beyond as a nurse for me with her kindness & support! I feel so blessed to have met her & have her as my nurse! Iderle truly is such a sweet, angelic, wonderful woman with a beautiful soul! I was very anxious & in so much discomfort & she helped ease both as did Dr. Cruz! Predatory services. I came in for a routine cleaning and was told that they would not do a general cleaning and required to do a long term deep cleaning procedure every 3 months and would cost over $1,900. This came as a shock since it had not been that long since my last routine cleaning. I declined the procedure and got two alternate opinions from another office in North Naples who both said there was nothing out of the ordinary, both had completely different and favorable results for pocket depth, and I ended up paying $120 out of pocket for a regular cleaning. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful though.

I absolutely love this office! I personally manage an office so I can appreciate when I come in, the staff is friendly, welcoming and most of all knowledgeable. Dr. Andres is very kind, not pushy and up to date with the most effective treatments and you can sense he loves what he does and cares about his patients. Now, in regards to my Hygienist Matias Cruz, I have been receiving cleanings since I was a little girl regularly and simply put he is the BEST! Very kind and thorough!! My teeth feel amazing after a cleaning with him! Thank you!!!

Decided to visit a dentist for a check up in Naples while visiting family. I was not disappointed as Dr. Andres Cruz and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cruz himself is very personable and has a no-nonsense approach to explaining your dental situation and next steps. I wish my own dentist at home was this good in explaining stuff! I also liked their use of technology from the check in experience to the actual dental procedures. Will definitely come back if I am in the area.

Dr. Cruz and Dr. Matias Cruz always make my visits so warm welcoming! Dr. Matias is always so patient and gentle when cleaning my teeth he always makes my experience so welcoming and so calming considering the fact that I am so sensitive from my mouth. My first visit here was phenomenal. Aderle has a very welcoming personality. From begin to end, she made be laughed and felt comfortable throughout my entire appointment. Dr.Cruz was very professional, made me feel like a VIP. He explained everything clearly so I could understand to make the right decision. I've been to other dental offices but at Naples Smiles Dentistry their service was beyond exceptional.

Be extremely cautious when it comes to billing. I agreed to a price and paid my bills in Nov. 2021, but received a bill of $300 in Feb 2022. They just informed me of the money I owe without explaining why and it took me 2 months to figure out. Apparently, there was a misunderstanding regarding which insurance I have. To sum it up, it was all my fault. Their office will never take any responsibility. Paid my bill and will not come back. ADVICE: 1: Make sure you show them your insurance card, even though they don't ask for it and you gave them all the information over the phone. 2: Ask for a break down of the price, verify with your insurance for coverage and price BEFORE you receive their services. :)

Dr. Cruz is a wonderful dentist who I trust after having a rough experience elsewhere. He has recently moved into a new building to his own practice, which is a much longer drive for me but is completely worth it. A well educated team to help explain all treatments/insurance prices etc. BEFORE they decided to go ahead and do anything. Rather than showing the bill afterwards. Big thanks to Iderle Thelisma who was Dr. Cruz's 'right hand' while I was there and helped me get through the treatment I needed.
