Periodontal (gum) disease is an infection caused by bacterial plaque, a thin, sticky layer of microorganisms (called a biofilm) that collects at the gum line in the absence of effective daily oral hygiene. Left for long periods of time, plaque will cause inflammation that can gradually separate the gums from the teeth forming little spaces that are referred to as periodontal pockets. The pockets offer a sheltered environment for the disease-causing (pathogenic) bacteria to reproduce. If the infection remains untreated, it can spread from the gum tissues into the bone that supports the teeth. Should this happen, your teeth may loosen and eventually be lost.
Often, nonsurgical treatment is enough to control a periodontal infection, restore oral tissues to good health, and tighten loose teeth. At that point, keeping up your oral hygiene routine at home and having regular checkups and cleanings at the dental office will give you the best chance to remain disease-free.

Naperville Dental has a very friendly staff. The office is clean and well maintained. I always feel safe even with the recent virus we have been dealing with. Dr. Miller and her staff are well qualified and have modern equipment to perform their duties. I appreciate that they worked with me recently on rescheduling, etc when I had tested positive for Covid. I would recommend Naperville Dental for your dental care.

After 2 month of waiting for a teeth cleaning appointment they called and asked to move it another 3 month without any apology even if I already started having tooth pain, they didn't care. Looks like teeth are like stainless steel nails for these doctors can wait forever and they don't care about appointments scheduled online...I won't go there.

I m very impressed with the service this time. I was scared when I took my daughter. Over the phone I told them my situation and told them to do some magic. Usually she don't allow any one to touch her mouth or don't like to go for dentist appointments. Dr Miller's assistant was very nice to her based on our special situation she was very nice to her. She did her magic and my daughter allowed her to check and do everything. Dr Miller also did a good job and she is ok to go and see dentist. I give a thumps up to everyone in the clinic. I recommend this place for special needed parents . I m sure most of them have same situation like me. They did a very good job.

Not a huge fan of dentists probably like everyone else. Needed a check up and teeth cleaned. My family has been going to Naperville Dental Center for some tome now. At their suggestion they said I should try. I actually enjoyed going to the dentist! If you live in Naperville or the surrounding cities, go visit this dental practice. Worth your while. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Naperville Dentsl Center.
