Dr. Bhullar acquired the practice of Dr. Charles Stratton after his retirement and serving the Napa community for over 35 years. Our sincere hope is to continue Dr. Strattons tradition of excellent dental care here in the Napa community, and we want to warmly welcome you to our new practice, Napa Valley Dental Group.

Dr. Bhullar earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He also holds a Bachelor of Science honors degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Dr. Bhullar exemplified excellent clinical abilities during his clinical rotations and continues to perform advanced dental procedures, and provides his patients with meticulous dental care.
Dr. Bhullars philosophy is to offer advanced dentistry in a relaxed, caring atmosphere where patients are treated like family. He creates treatment plans specific to each patients needs and works on achieving improved oral health and the smiles his patients deserve.
Dr. Bhullar believes that oral health is extremely important for his patients over all health. Providing the patient with thorough oral health education is an extremely important part of his treatment. He strives for his patients to feel comfortable and receive thorough dental care. Dr. Bhullar is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Bhullar practiced in Texas after graduation and has been practicing in California for the past five years. He has been married for 19 years to his wife Dimple and devotes all his free time to his children Raunak and Rehat. He enjoys hiking, cycling and watching basketball.

Top notch dentist office everyone was super friendly and very helpful. I went in for a crown that fell out. I was a new patient, new to the area and had to bring my two year old daughter in with me because I had no one to watch her. They said no problem just bring her along, all of the staff took turns checking on her while I was being worked on. Even Dr. Bhullar was picking up after her, very kind people would 10/10 recommend them for any of your dental needs.

Went in in pain! They were very good to me. I give the oral hygienist a ten. She was awesome. I'm happy to have found a place I like. I'm new to the area and will continue to go there!

Dr. Bhullar is great and so is his staff! My son has autism and has always had to be under sedation to have work done. Dr. Bhullar suggested we try nitric oxide for 2 small cavities and see if my son could handle it. He left him on gas for a while to get him relaxed and then started with novocaine. First they did a local gel to start the numbing. My son is very sensitive and was struggling with the shot. So Dr. Bhullar did a little at a time and waited 5 minutes between shots to let the med kick in. He did this 3 times to make it easier. The doctor and his assistant were so good with my son and got him through it and did super nice work. This is the first time in my son's life this has ever happened and is huge achievement. Not to mention saving us a lot of money (sedation is expensive). I absolutely love this dentist and his team! Hands down the best I've ever dealt with in my life. Thank you so much Dr. Bhullar!

On my first appointment, the receptionist greeted me with a smile and was very accommodating. I was assisted immediately, I didn't have to wait too long. The hygienist was very nice and polite, explains the procedure in detail, very knowledgeable, she was trying her best not to sound pushy on offering their services which I appreciated. She also gave me advice how to properly take care of my teeth. The doctor was also nice and answered all my questions, he explained my dental health condition. After consultation the doctor have asked me to wait for the receptionist and they will explain the procedures I need for my next visit, what will be the charges and what how much will the insurance cover. When I thought that my experience would be overall great, the receptionist named Mireya talked to me like I'm stupid and kept saying repeatedly that I payment will be "pay as you go" or the amount that the insurance will not cover needed to paid upfront every after procedure. I already understood it the first time she said it and she still repeats herself over and over while all the other patients hears what we were discussing which supposed to be discussed with the patient only. I felt belittled, she kept talking I didn't even get the chance to ask questions. She also made it sound that I need to book my appointment today, if not, I may not be able to get an earlier date of schedule which I understand. I told her I'm not sure yet because I need to check with work schedule first and I know you guys charge $150 if the appointment will be missed so I need to make sure first. Then after she assisted me, and was about to leave the clinic already. She didn't mention any charges. But I thought I'd ask, she then suddenly said I have to pay $56. I asked her what are the charges are for and she said that hygienist did extra cleaning than normal and that's not covered by insurance. I told her that it was not explained to me, what I was told was it was just a regular cleaning. She then went back to the room behind the counter and asked someone, and then went back to me and said that there will be no charges and everything will be covered by insurance. I felt like she was charging suddenly just because I asked if I had to pay something. If she is not sure if the hygienist did extra cleaning why would she charge me $56. If I didn't ask, I would end up paying for a service that I didn't receive. And I also checked your website and your company offers financing. This should have been explained and given as an option instead she said I have to pay the amount not covered by my insurance upfront. Everyone was very professional and friendly except for her. Very disappointing. Please treat everyone with respect. All your patients wether they are paying cash, insurance or financing are still your patients and keep your business going.I hope that this will not happen because it really makes me not want to go back anymore. thank you.

At the age of 72, and as a retired orthodontist, I have met, worked with and been a patient of many dentists . I have never met anyone with such skill and integrity as Dr. Justin Newberry. He is the best.

Well organized, clean. More than usually friendly. For the first time I was given eye protection while working on my tooth. Reasonable fees, and in house insurance. Excellent work. With excellent specialists each doing part of a new crown and in house crown making it took a lot less time than I expected and only one visit.

Im in the middle of some extensive repair of my teeth. Extractions, implants, bridges, etc. Dr Bhuller and his staff are kind and gentle. They make you feel at ease. I would highly recommend this office!

This was a good visit! My hygienist always do a great job! The office person (Kirsten)? Help me with important information! First time meeting Dr B, seem to be a good Dentist. My visit on 8/2/22 was a good visit! My Hygienist made me feel very comfortable! Dr. B is always thorough!

I had a horrible toothache on a Saturday. I called every dental office on Monday to see if I could be seen same day. This office was the only one who could squeeze me on same day. Long story short, I needed 2 wisdom teeth removed. They performed the procedure the following day. Extremely professional and zero pain. I was completely floored by how easy the process was. All the while, I'm pregnant too. They took care of me and I am grateful for that. Thanks again!

I have been a patient at Napa Valley Dental Group for over 5 years, and have had great experiences here. Dr. Bhullar and his entire team are wonderful. The front desk staff are all very kind and professional. The dental hygienists are all very skilled and thorough in their work. The specialists who helped with my Invisalign were both very skilled and knowledgeable. Dr. Bhullar himself is great, and really takes the time to care for his patients. I have had regular cleanings and oral care as well as more specialized procedures done at Napa Valley Dental Group. I highly recommend them for all of your dental needs.
