The Napa Solano Dental Society is a professional association of dentists that is committed to the enhancement of the oral health education and dental welfare of the public. We are a local component society of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

The Napa Solano Dental Society, serves the communities in both Napa and Solano Counties. Our members provide services in the following communites: Allendale, American Canyon, Angwin, Benicia, Calistoga, Deer Park, Dixon, Fairfield, Liberty Farm, Napa, Nut Tree, Rio Vista, Rutherford, Saint Helena, Spanish Flat, Suisun City, Travis AFB, Vacaville, Vallejo and Yountville.

CE courses on Oral Health Literacy, Oral Health Disparities, Cultural competency, and Update on Medi-Cal Dental program. We want to personally invite everyone to the course. The topics are so relevant to the current state of dentistry. As all of us involved in dentistry, know how important it is to help our patients understand oral disease and how to prevent it from occurring. This meeting will provide you with resources and strategies to help your patients. The topics of Oral Health Disparities and Cultural Humility will help define the issues and provide understanding on how these issues affect the dental/oral health of our patients.

Representatives of Delta Dental will be providing an overview of the Medi-Cal dental program and an innovative program called CalAIM, which is providing enhances payment for services to Medi-Cal patients. This will be an informative evening that will have information and resources for you, and your staff to be able to continue to provide the best care to your patients.

Each year, the Napa Solano Dental Society hosts a joint session with our federal dentists. In recent years, the residents of programs at AEGD and VA have provided the content for our session. The residents team up to create their presentations. Each segment is 15 to 20 minutes followed by Q&A.
