Dr. Nantz received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Texas, Houston, before earning his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Before entering his orthodontic residency, he practiced general dentistry for three years.
Dr. Nantz regularly participates in continuing education events including the Invisalign study club and the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting. He utilizes state-of-the-art technology and the most current treatment modalities to ensure his patients receive the best care available.
Dr. Nantz gives back to the community by working with the Veterans Association, Indian Health Services, and the UNLV faculty practice. He has served as a dentist on international mission trips to Nicaragua and India and currently volunteers with Keep Austin Beautiful, Austin Pet Alive, and Soles for Souls providing shoes for the needy around the globe.
In his spare time, he loves exploring the great outdoors of Austin. If hes not on the river or lake, you will most likely find him trail running and biking at Lady Bird Lake, playing tennis, or listening to live music. He thoroughly enjoys living in Austin and being a part of this great community.
I love to learn, the more I learn the more I can help educate our patients on oral health & cleanliness. I feel passionate about answering questions relating to your treatment and it always makes my day to see a patient feel good about their smile!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family; my dad and I love to spend our free time at the coast. I enjoy going to bakeries to try all kinds of new sweets! You will also find me every weekend at my all-time favorite place, Target!
Hi! I'm Chrissie the Insurance GURU and Financial Coordinator. I have been in the dental field for 10years. About 5 years ago I joined Orthodontics and have loved it ever since. I was welcomed on to Dr. Nantzs team in 2016. The best part of my day is helping patients understand how ortho benefits work, utilizing their insurance benefits to the fullest to get you the best deal possible.
I have been in the orthodontic field for 10+ years. I am a native Austinite. The best part of my job is being able to educate patients in orthodontics and making their smile amazing. We have a lot of fun here at Nantz Orthodontics and I couldn't see myself working anywhere else!
Hi I'm Ney! I have been a dental assistant for 5 years and I am also fluent in Spanish. I joined Nantz Orthodontics in August 2018 and I have a great passion for my team. My biggest enjoyment is to experience the transformation of each beautiful smile. I love talking with patients and really connecting with them on a personal level to make sure they feel a part of the family in the office.

My daughter loves her orthodontist. Everybody is pleasant and appointments move swiftly. We are still newbies but the changes are already extremely visible. This office has brought my daughters smile back.

Professional, friendly, and clean! Had my braces done several years back and after a few years one of the bonding glue came off. They were able to fix it very quickly. Their COVID procedures are safe as they limit number of people inside, all the staff were wearing masks, and the individual patient rooms also had curtains. Highly recommend!

This has been the BEST clinical experience I've ever had in my whole entire life! I DREAD going to the dentist. Better yet, braces! I had braces on from Mexico but due to the pandemic I am no planning on returning. Embarrassed and what not, I went ahead and made an appointment for a free consultation. The amount of care and attention was amazing. I felt like I had known them for a very long time. Starting off with the front desk ladies all the way to the Orthodontist. X-rays and pictures were fast and the young lady has such a bubbly personality! The payment options are GREAT! Best pricing I had found here in Austin. I look forward to establishing my treatment here and seeing their welcoming faces again! Thanks y'all!!
