My interest in orthodontics began in the 7th grade when I got my braces on. I remember feeling relieved that I could finally close the gap between my two front teeth. After I got my braces off, the gap was gone and I finally had confidence in myself and my smile. I wanted to help everyone feel the same way I did, so I began perusing the path of becoming an orthodontist.
The path to becoming an Orthodontist began when I received my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. I then moved to Las Vegas where I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. After dental school, I began my specialized orthodontic training by completing a one-year orthodontic fellowship program at UNLV. I was then accepted into the 30-month Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency program at UNLV. During my residency, I also received my Masters in Oral Biology.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to exercise by playing basketball and tennis.I am the proud new dad of beautiful twin girls that next to my wife are the loves of my life.

Well what can I say... Your face is the money maker and I've always been broke. It was time for a change. I found Nance through a friend and we decided to become brace buddies together. My twenties were rough on me which left me with a crooked smile, a growing gut and a hairline that checked out faster than my ex wife. It was time for a win. The consultation was free and Dr. Nance had my braces on in no time. He was also running a deal to get a VR headset so I can load myself into a reality where my smile doesn't send people running for the hills. The entire experience was painless and my follow up visits for adjustments were fast. Would I recommend this fine establishment? Absolutely. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Also, Shay is the best!

Dr. Nance and his team are the best! My daughter needed braces, and a friend recommended Dr. Nance. I'm so glad she did! Her teeth are straight and even and each time she was seen there was progress. Even through COVID the office staff were friendly, attentive and positive. We highly recommend Dr. Nance and have recommended him to other families. The cost was also very competitive and they were helpful in creating an affordable payment plan.

Fantastic orthodontist & staff. They are very informative & take the time to explain everything thoroughly. Orthodontist treated my kids very well & made them feel comfortable. Office is very nice & clean. You feel at home there & confident in their services.

Dr. Nance and his staff are outstanding. I have two kids in braces and it has been a great experience. Each time we come the service is fantastic! From scheduling, to being gentle on my kids little mouths, to fixing broken brackets, Nance Orthodontics is the BEST! Dr. Nance is great at what he does. I would highly recommend him. My oldest daughter is currently a patient and I definitely plan on having my other two children use Dr. Nance when they are old enough to have braces. He is very professional and so is his staff.

We love Nance orthodontics. The office staff are all so friendly and Dr Nance is knowledgeable and kind. He cares about all my kiddos and remembers us when we come in. Our oral surgeon speaks highly of Nance as well. Also- they've done a great job with my oldest two in and now out of braces with now straight teeth and retainers to wear at night for a little while and also helped me out with a retainer because my permanent one finally broke off. Now my youngest two are starting the process. Bonus: the chocolate kisses/other treats and complimentary drinks are always a good thing!

I started out with Nance Orthodontics on my braces journey a couple years ago. Highly recommend going elsewhere. He never seemed to care much if I was in pain, he'd manhandle my face and I would just have to take it. I have a chain attached to a canine that hasn't come down and I remember vividly he once yanked on it so hard it felt like I got punched in the face. That could cause nerve damage which is the last thing anyone needs. I ended up going somewhere else after we figured out I needed jaw surgery and he didn't inform us until at least a year of braces even though he had access to x-rays and everything. Even the oral surgeon he recommended to us didn't seem to care all that much and only did the most basic and minimal examination. They both seemed like they were just in it for the money. The only upside is that the assistant ladies were sweet and fun to talk to but I do remember one of them tried clipping a wire and it flew into my eye and I had to wait until she finished to take it out because she did not notice at all. If you need braces or you're aware you have complicated teeth issues then PLEASE go someone else. You will waste so much time and money letting these people handle it.

Nance orthodontics is awesome. The staff is always nice and does the job quickly. They have a raffle most months with good prizes. There also have several TVs on the wall facing the operating chairs, and while it would be nice if they were on the ceiling, at lease they have them. They also have complimentary toothbrushes in case you didn't have time to brush at home.
