Dr. Bryan Nakfoor grew up in a family where having a great smile was a top priority. As a teenager, he spent summers and a few hours each week working in his fathers orthodontic practice. It was in this setting that he discovered his natural aptitude for working with his hands, and he became fluent in the language of teeth!
Dr. Nakfoor attended the University of Michigan and earned an undergraduate degree in engineering. He then graduated with honors at the top of his class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He went on to earn his M.S. at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the Department of Orthodontics. In 2008, Dr. Nakfoor earned the status of Diplomate from the American Board of Orthodontics and renewed his certification in 2020. It is a distinction attained by only 33% of orthodontists in the United States.

As soon as I walked in this office I felt welcomed by everyone. I chose Dr Nakfoor because of his experience and expertise. I had a great experience doing Invisalign here and am so happy with my teeth!

I went to Nak4 Orthodontics for an Invisalign consultation after finding them on Invisalign's website. Over the years, a few teeth\my bite had shifted a bit and I wanted to touch-up my smile prior to my wedding. During my consultation, the orthodontist who I consulted with told me I would need jaw surgery if I wanted to permanently fix my problem and she couldn't promise if I did Invisalign, it would even get better. She was pretty rude and condescending the entire time and I left pretty shocked and upset but decided to go for a second consultation elsewhere. I went to Hurley and Volk who assured me the problem was easily fixed with Invisalign and I was a great candidate and I've since finished treatment (in 13 months) and my bite was very easily fixed with Invisalign. Not sure what the orthodontist at Nak4 was talking about but I wouldn't recommend this orthodontist. It was a pretty horrible experience for me!

We absolutely love Nak4 orthodontics in Arlington Heights. They are the most efficient dental practice you will ever find. They make scheduling your appointments easy and quick and their front desk staff is always super helpful and friendly. Our dental assistant is super friendly and always puts my daughter instantly at ease. Dr Nakfoor is friendly and knowledgeable and always approachable with questions and concerns along the way. We really have had a wonderful experience with this practice. You won't be disappointed.

The entire practice from Nak4 has been amazing. From our first consultation, Dr Nakfoor & Joann, the practice manager, were very helpful and caring. It is very clear that they put the patient & parents first. Zero pressure and every question answered. This feels like how your hometown practice should feel. Through the entire time all people who treated our daughter, or handled scheduling were kind, caring, and professional. Nak4 Orthodontics located in Arlington Heights is consistently accommodating. I specifically want to highlight one of the members of the team, Maricela, who patiently waited one hour after the office closed for me to pick up my trays before the weekend. Had she not gracefully waited I would have been four days without my trays (nor a retainer as I had recently lost mine) causing delay in treatment and my trays to possibly not fit the following week. I always appreciate the team's organization and ability to work with the patient. Being able to text the office is also a convenient and efficient way to quickly get a hold of the team. Maricela, thank you again for being flexible and understanding. Sometimes things happen and it is very helpful when folks show kindness.
