Dr. Nahee Williams McDonald was very receptive and caring when I saw her first time to take care of my 7 year old boy. The process was smooth and wonderful, my son did great. He was happy to go back to dentist as he was treated so well. I'd like to recommend to other moms to count on Dr. Williams for taking care of their kids.

I have an Autistic Daughter and she needs the Extra support because she gets anxious but Precious Smiles really helps with the process and they smile all the time and try to calm my daughter and help so things go smoothly, Dr. Williams goes to the point and its very knowledgeable and she knows what she is doing. I really love the way her team works and I am very happy.

Dental care was superb as usual; the customer service..not so much. Apparantly now, instead of speaking with a receptionist the office practice is to have patients sign-in on their computer system as the receptionist looks on. Besides the fact that it no longer requires customer service to actually interface with patients and parents, the system is poorly designed and executed. To sign in it doesn't ask for your name, it asks for a phone number. It does not say which phone number, and many of us have many phone numbers that we have provided Dr Nahee's office (work, cell, home). The mouse does not work well on their granite counter, nor do they provide enough room to use it. Once you have takem a couple of minutes to successfully sign-in (as other customers patiently wait for you), it then proceeds with a 5 minute quiz on all of your personal information, which of course they already have. I have no problem with periodically updating information but they can do that with an email or a simple print out. It does not need to be done when arriving for an appointment.

Precious smile of Virginia is very disorganized. I have a daughter who needs major dental work done. After initial visit, I was told to have pediatrician fill out a physical so my daughter can get a sedation dental care done. I was told by the front desk receptionist to get the forms filled out and fax over and the doctor will setup the schedule with in two weeks of receiving physical. Also receptionist have told me that physical would be only valid for 30 days. I had the physical done within few days of initial visit and got the record faxed over from the pediatrician's office the same day. 3 weeks when by and I didn't get any calls from the dental practice, so I gave them a call. They told me that they don't have have available schedule for another 2 month. I was so upset. I asked them why did you ask me to fax over the physical as soon as possible when you didn't have the surgery date setup. They told me that it's impossible that they would tell the patients to get the physical done when they didn't have the schedule for surgery. I told them "yes" you have told me get the physical done ASAP and "yes" I've been told that you will call me back within 2 weeks. I didn't get any follow ups and notice about surgery. I had to call to find out what was going on. I have wasted time and money to get the physical done and now I have to waste another day to get updated physical done. They were treating this misunderstanding was fault of mine and it was due to my lack of ability to understand English. I do not recommend going to this dental practice. Lady in charge Jody was not very helpful and you will not get hold of Doctor Williams. If you have special needs child or if your child needs major dental work done, I would reconsider going to this practice.

Before Dr. Mcdonald took over this practice we would go see Dr. Leaf at this same building. When the change over happened, we continued on the recommendation of Dr. Leaf. I"m so glad we did. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They answer all questions without argument or hesitation and explain things patiently if need be. Dr. Mcdonald comes out and explains what will be done during that days visit and any options so you can choose the best avenue for your child. They are quick to get you in if there is any urgent work that needs to be done and very understanding when you need to reschedule. I highly recommend this dental clinic, especially for military families (which we are). I am going to miss them when we have to move.

My children have been patients of Dr. Williams for about six years and I can't say enough good things about her and her staff. Let me put it this way~for most of this time we weren't able to use our dental insurance, but I was MORE than willing to pay out of pocket for her excellent service! When we recently changed insurance plans, a priority was to choose one that Precious Smiles of Virginia accepted. Before a friend recommended this practice many years ago, even routine check-ups and cleanings from our previous dentist were a nightmare. Thank God for Dr. Williams! She and her caring staff just "get" kids and are able to meet them where they are in their comfort level. Don't get me wrong~my boys would much rather play with puppies or go to Dairy Queen than go for dental care (or medical care for that matter), but I'm so glad we have her when it's necessary! (Needs have included: regular check-ups, some cavities filled and a palate expander).

The staff is phenomenal. The dentists are phenomenal. We love going here. Everyone is always very friendly and very accommodating. Our youngest is deathly afraid of doctors/dentists, but he runs into the office when we get there.

There are many things I would prefer to do rather than take my youngest to the dentist. It is always filled with drama on his end. The folks at Precious Smiles are always there to calm him down and Dr. Nahee is the best - always calm, always reassuring.
