Dr. Norman J. Nagel has practiced his dental specialty of orthodontics in the Conejo Valley for over 40 years. 'When you smile, we smile,' is Dr. Nagel 's motto. Treating the children of former patients (when they were children) is a great tribute to the care and attention that Dr. Nagel and his experienced staff provide to their patients.

In addition, Dr. Jeff is certified in Clear Aligner Therapy, offering the option of Invisalign to those patients that seek a clear alternative to braces. Today, Dr. Jeff works alongside his father, Dr. Norman Nagel, in both the Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks offices.
Dr. Jeff grew up in the Conejo Valley playing AYSO soccer, surfing along the Ventura County coastline, and graduating from Thousand Oaks High School. Dr. Jeff continues to further his dental and orthodontic knowledge with continuing education courses and seminars. Away from the office, courses and community involvement, Dr. Jeff fulfills his love and time with his wonderful family.
Since moving to Simi Valley, I have heard amazing things about Nagel Orthodontics. When the opportunity arose to work in the front office and be apart of the father - son practice and team I jumped at the chance. My job is to ensure our patients are satisfied with their orthodontic experience, both in the office and over the phone. I love that I get to see our patients as they progress through treatment, and I enjoy seeing their self-confidence grow with each visit.
I have always been interested in the dental field, and working here at Nagel Orthodontics has given me that opportunity. Before I moved to the United States, I earned my bachelors degree in educational science in Iran. With this degree, I worked as an elementary school teacher. When I moved to the U.S., I continued teaching as a substitute. When the job arose at Nagel Orthodontics, I was very eager and excited to begin. Working here has given me a lot of great experience in the dental field.
I have been interested in the dental field ever since I can remember, and my love for orthodontics bloomed once I experienced braces for myself! My passion for orthodontics allows me to give each and every patient that walks through our door the BEST possible experience so that they may enjoy and love their smile as much as I do. To me it isn't only about dentistry either, one of my favorite parts of getting to work in orthodontics is that I get to personally see our patients go from being small and barely fitting in our chairs to growing up and getting taller, smarter and more confident. When I'm not assisting chair-side and laughing and joking with my patients at the office, you can find me with my toes in the sand at the beach accompanied by my dog child, Fynn!
I have been in the orthodontic field since 1997. I started off as a Sterilizer Operator and that peaked my interest in learning to assist and create beautiful smiles, so I continued working and received my license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in 2001. I started working for Nagel Orthodontics in March 2016, and my experience with Drs. Norman and Jeffrey Nagel has been amazing. Nagel Orthodontics extends a warm, family-friendly atmosphere not only among the staff members, but with our patients as well. I admire the way both doctors approach their patients, with a smile and kindness. They are always professional. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all current and future patients, building confidence with every visit as we create not only a beautiful smile, but great memories along the way. When I'm not with my work family, you'll find me spending time with my three children. We love spending time outdoors, dining out, and hitting the movies on our down time!
I was introduced to Nagel Orthodontics through a referral from a friend. After listening to her rave about Dr. Nagel, my children soon became patients there. I was impressed with not only the amazing results, but also the personal care and commitment of the doctors and staff. They truly treat every patient like family. I was excited when the opportunity arose for me to join their amazing team. My job in the office is to help patients understand the insurance process. I serve as the liaison between the family and their insurance company. However, my favorite part of working at Nagel Orthodontics is seeing patients walk out with big smiles on their faces after getting their braces off.
