Dr. Chris Nagel was born and raised in Anaheim, California where he attended Servite High School. He proceeded to Santa Clara University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in biology in 1973. Following his graduation, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1977, he graduated from Creighton and began to practice in Orange County, CA. He then started a private practice in Fountain Valley, where he was later joined by his brother Vince. Dr. Chris is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. In addition to these organizations, he keeps up with current research and practice through a monthly study group with fellow dentists, orthodontists, and surgeons in the area. Dr. Chris enjoys making customized mouthguards for high school and collegiate athletes. In 2013, Dr. Chris designed and fabricated a dental prosthetic device for Diana Nyad to help protect her from the deadly Box jellyfish in her swim from Cuba to Key, West Florida.

Dr. Chris has a beautiful wife, two daughters, and a son. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, snow skiing, swimming, and watching Servite football. He also is the inventor of the Hoop Shooter Pro, a patented basketball shooting and training aid that helps players keep their hands and arms together when shooting.

Following in his older brothers footsteps, Dr. Vince grew up in Anaheim with his five siblings and attended Servite High School. After attending Santa Clara University for two years, he transferred to Creighton University to finish his Bachelors Degree and attend dental school, receiving his DDS in 1986. He moved back to Orange County to begin practicing general dentistry with Dr. Chris, and Dr. Vince has been happily treating Nagel Dentistry patients ever since! Dr. Vince has a lovely wife, Susie, three daughters and enjoys spending time with them at UCLA tailgates. He loves taking photographs of family events and nature (especially bald eagles and birds he finds around the neighborhood), BBQing in his backyard, and watching sports. Dr. Vince also loves traveling; his favorite destinations include Sydney, Australia last year and swimming with the pigs in the Bahamas this past summer!

Dr. Annie grew up in Tustin and attended Rosary High School; she went on to receive her B.S. degree in physiological science from UCLA in 2011. She moved to San Francisco to attend University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated in June 2015. Her decision to attend UOP reflected her deep respect for the schools humanistic model of teaching its students and treating its patients, and she is looking forward to continuing that philosophy at Nagel Dentistry with her dad Dr. Vince, her uncle Dr. Chris, her aunt Denise, and the rest of the wonderful staff. Dr. Annie loves cooking, tailgating UCLA football games, attending her Women in Business group meetings, event planning, chocolate, traveling, iced coffee, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Christine has been a hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist with our office since 1989. She prides herself as a people person and is always there to answer any hygiene questions for our patients. In her free time, Christine tries to keep up with her standard poodle and her grandchildren and practicing her hobbies of crafts and painting. She appreciates the similar dental care philosophies at Nagel Dentistry and looks forward to seeing you at your next cleaning!

Eileen has been a Registered Dental Hygienist at our office since 2009. She has been sharing her friendly, considerate demeanor in the dental field since 1982; originally working as a Registered Dental Assistant after receiving a degree in science from OCC and her RDA license, she then received her RDH license from Cypress College. Eileen has lived in Fountain Valley for most of her life and enjoys cooking, baking, baseball, chocolate, ping pong (shes pretty good!), and traveling with her family.

Katie joined our practice 25 years ago and has been a friendly, loyal, and devoted hygienist to our family of patients since. She graduated with an Associate in Sciences degree in dental assisting, receiving both Registered and Certified licenses from Cypress College in 1983. Katie continued her education and was licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1987. To advance her knowledge further, she worked with a specialist in the field of Periodontics for 4 plus years following graduation. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Fun fact - Katie raises mastiff breed dogs.

Diane lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and has been a part of Nagel Dentistry since November 2007. After graduating from Rosary High School and CCC, she was a great assistant to Dr. Vince, then worked in the front office, and now practices as Nagel Dentistrys newest hygienist! Her favorite thing about the office is the caring and compassionate environment, which allows us to provide the best care to our patients. She believes Nagel Dentistry really is like a second family. She has a great sense of humor and is a long-time Kings fan. She enjoys sunny days at the beach, camping, bicycling along the coast, and being Aunt Diane to all her nieces and nephews.

Denise has worked as our Patient Coordinator since 1981 and grew up in Anaheim as the youngest of six siblings! She now calls Huntington Beach home with her husband. Her three sons are mechanical engineers. She has two wonderful daughter-in-laws! Her favorite thing about working in the office is seeing the patients and their families grow up and working with the nicest dentists and staff. Denise enjoys watching football, walking or going for beach bike rides, and ANYTHING that involves family! As a former Registered Dental Assistant, Denise is an incredible asset to our office (and her brothers, Dr. Chris and Dr. Vince, and niece, Dr. Annie) and looks forward to continuing to provide a great dental experience at Nagel Dentistry.

Judy has worked as a Patient Coordinator since 1999. She lives in Orange and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. You can count on Judy for a warm welcome to Nagel Dentistry and can help answer any front office questions with a smile. Her favorite thing about the office is working with the best dentists, patients and staff. In her free time, she likes working outside and spending time with family and friends.

Rachel started working at our office in 1992, and since then has transitioned from Registered Dental Assistant for Dr. Vince to Patient Coordinator. Her favorite thing about working at Nagel Dentistry is our patients. She says the office is like a second family and knows the patients are the best! Rachel loves spending time with her three kiddos (and even loves getting her teeth cleaned!) and will welcome you with a kind, friendly smile next time youre at the office.
