April was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, graduated from Hudson High School and attended Angelina College. She married her firefighter husband, Justin, in July 2007. They reside in Nacogdoches where they are also members of the First Baptist Church. April and Justin were blessed with a baby boy in 2012 and then a baby girl in 2014. April became a part of the Nacogdoches Dental family in June of 2006. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to church and being outdoors. As our Hygiene Coordinator, April truly cares about your oral health and she strives to keep our patients up to date on their routine dental cleaning, exam and x rays.
Cassandra was born and raised in Oregon, but made Texas her home in 2002. Cassandra graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 2012. After graduating, Cassandra went on to meet the love of her life and started her family. Cassandra joined our Nacogdoches Dental family in 2018 as the scheduling coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and making memories with her husband and two daughters.
Suzanne grew up in Center, Texas and graduated from Wharton County Junior College Dental Hygiene Program. She has been a hygienist with Nacogdoches Dental since July of 2003. Suzanne stays current with continuing dental education classes a commitment she takes seriously in order to help patients maintain their dental health. Our patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. She has two children and reside in Nacogdoches. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Stacey moved to Cushing in 1997 upon her fathers retirement from the Houston Police Department. She graduated from Cushing High School in 2007 and went on to attend Midwestern State University where she received her Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Shortly after finishing college, Stacey moved back to East Texas and married her junior high sweetheart. Nacogdoches Dental was pleased to have her join our team in 2014. Staceys love for dentistry grows more each year. You can rest assured that she will do all that she can to help you achieve the smile you want and deserve.
Traci Anderson has lived in Nacogdoches for more than 20 years. After she graduated in 1997 from Woden High School, she went to school to become a Cosmetologist and owned and operated her own salon. In 2007, she decided to change careers and the door opened for her to join the Nacogdoches Dental team. When not working, she and her wonderful husband Issac, enjoy being a part of their 4 boys very active lives on and off the field. Between participating in football and year round baseball there isnt much idle time in the Anderson house. As a dental assistant Traci enjoys first hand providing the standard of care expected and deserved by the patients. Each patients comfort is first on her list every day.
Cristal Eberlan grew up in East Texas on Lake Sam Rayburn. Cristal graduated from Woden High School in 2011. She came on board, with our dental family, in 2012. She enjoys weekends on the lake and spending time with her husband, her daughter and her family. Her ability, as a dental assistant, to understand and comfort our patients comes very naturally.
Monica was born in Oregon, but moved to Texas in 2002 with her family. Monica attended Nacogdoches ISD where she graduated in 2015. Shortly after graduating, she took interest in dentistry and became a dental assistant. Monica joined our Nacogdoches Dental family in 2018 and has been a great asset to the team. When Monica is not helping with patients, she enjoys spending time with her two young nieces and the rest of her family and friends.
Brent A. Stephens, DDS Dr. Stephens is a native Texan. After beginning his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University he transferred to Southern Nazarene University where his father was a professor. He earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Nazarene University and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. During this time, Dr. Stephens received advanced training in dental forensics while serving on the dental forensic team that identified most of the 168 victims of the Alpha P. Murrah federal building bombing disaster.
Dr. Stephens and his wife Ginger have called Nacogdoches home since 1997.God has blessed them with two sons, Hunter and Cole. When out of the office, Dr. Stephens loves to travel with his family and friends. He also enjoys hunting, deep sea fishing and working on his ranch.
Rick Autrey, DDS Dr. Autrey, a native Texan, attended the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989, after completing his undergrad studies in biology at U.T. in Austin. He also completed one year in a hospital residency program in Advanced Perio and Oral Surgery at Denver General Hospital in 1989. After practicing general dentistry in Austin for two years, he moved to Nacogdoches and has been with Nacogdoches Dental ever since.

I called and I was intrested and possibly the appointment based on the reviews. They wanted me to come in for not 1 but 2 visits. I thought that was kinda suspicious because no other dentist I know does that, they do everything on the same visit so you don't have to come back. They said it's "Their policy" when I asked for clarification because i was not comfortable with that supposed policy. They also said the first visit is to see how "Much time is allotted" to clean your teeth. As someone who has a problem with your gums like me, don't choose this place. I have family who works in the medical field and they said the reason why they're doing this is to bill the insurance company for 2 separate visits. Look at the reviews for the doctors themselves, you'll see. It's a money grab.

In my opinion Dr. Stevens and his staff are the best in the business. They have always provided an efficient stress-free dental experience. I appreciate knowing all my options up front and using a conservative approach to the health of my teeth!

Nacogdoches Dental Center has always provided excellent dental care services. The office and dental staff takes special care to go over dental procedures and plans for preventive dental care. They work to ensure that you are comfortable when undergoing dental procedures.

Great experience as always, Dr. Stephens and Jennifer, as well as entire staff, are always professional and answer all questions I might have. I feel my dental health is in excellent hands. Good Covid 19 preventions in place in their office and exam rooms, I felt totally safe during my visit.

I have never felt so at ease in a dental office. I waited too long to go see a dentist but they did not criticize. Instead they listened, explained all my options, listened to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable.

Doctor Stevens and his staff are all very nice and accommodating. I just had a Crown done during these COVID times and everything was handled very well. My husband and I commute all the way from Longview to attend this dentist.

I liked that I received a call the day before my appointment to explain the procedures with COVID-19. I didn't have to wait in the waiting room and the staff was, as always, so friendly. I enjoy going to the dentist with this great service.
