I understand that some people have dental-related anxiety. Perhaps they had a bad experience or maybe theyve heard stories from friends. Whatever the reason, they now stress about seeing the dentist and may put off visits for years.
I work hard with patients who fear seeing the dentist: my staff and I are here to listen, without judgment, and will help each person move past their concerns. Dentistry doesnt have to hurt and people shouldnt suffer from fear of the dentist. My goal is to provide dental care with a gentle touch. Changing patient attitudes helps patients become more receptive to treatment and take better care of their oral health.
As a dentist, I enjoy helping people learn that coming to see me is nothing to fret about, and can actually be an enjoyable experience. In fact, I like that as much as I like fixing teeth and restoring smiles!
Each year I attend multiple conferences, lectures, and seminars focused on continuing dental education. This is a constantly changing field, especially the technological advances that make dentistry faster, easier, and prettier. My patients trust me to provide the highest level of care and access to the best treatments. Continuing education ensures I live up to their expectations.
I grew up in the Midwest, attending high school and college in Lawrence, KS. I then moved to Kansas City for four years while attending dental school, then returned to Lawrence,KSto practice with my former dentist and his son. In 1987 I moved here to Lancaster, CA.
When not working, I can be found swimming or practicing yoga, browsing for treasures on eBay, and enjoying life. I love watercolor and figure drawing classes and travels to places with palm trees. Im also a fan of dark chocolate, in small quantities: it has antioxidants and is therefore healthy, right?

I enjoy the relationships that I have developed with my patients. Caring for people from all walks of life and hearing their stories has broadened my own life. I focus on inspiring people to take better care of their oral and overall health. While cleaning teeth and performing other hygiene tasks, I talk with each patient about their unique dental needs. We discuss changing habits, making healthy food choices, and home hygiene care. I love seeing a healthy smile at a return visit.
My husband Don and I have been married for 30 years. Our daughter Margaret is a vet student at UC Davis. Right now our home menagerie includes Arthur, a Corgi, and Rosie Cuddlesworth, a cat, as well as assorted chickens. I enjoy vegetable and flower gardening.
I enjoy making patients feel great about their smile and love to see them smiling freely and with confidence. Its my job to educate our patients about creating and maintaining good oral health. I teach them why its important to keep their mouth healthy, and give them the skills to do so. I love talking with each person and establishing strong relationships with them. Doing so not only makes me happy, but helps me address their individual needs and concerns.
Im married to the love of my life, Kevin, and we have an adorable young son who keeps us on our toes. We love to be outdoors, camping, hiking, and going to the beach. I enjoy traveling and love photography. I also enjoy shopping, scrapbooking, and throwing birthday parties.
I love making patients laugh during their visits. Helping a person learn that coming to see us is nothing to worry about, and supporting them while theyre here, are my passions. I bring patients into the treatment area, prepare them to see Dr. Nabors, and explain what well be doing. Then I sit chairside, assisting the doctor and keeping our patient updated on what were doing. At the end of a procedure, I explain follow-up care.
I have two sons, one who is starting college. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering for the Cowboys and Dodgers, and going to Disneyland. I am the office expert on 80s music.
I enjoy talking with our patients and getting to know them. I also love seeing how happy each person is with their improved smile, and how surprised they are that the process was painless. Here, we like to change patients attitudes about dentistry from negative to positive. I provide chairside assistance during procedures, helping Dr. Nabors and making sure our patient is comfortable. I also take X-rays, mix materials, clean and setup rooms, and sterilize instruments.
In my free time I love being outdoors, whether thats camping, walking at the beach, or watching my four kids play sports. Our family has two cats and a dog, too. I also enjoy reading murder mysteries, watching zombie movies on Netflix,and look forward to football season so I can cheer for the 49ers.
I grew up in Lynwood, California and moved to the Antelope Valley in 1992. I love spending time with my family, especially my three sons. Im my youngest sons number-one basketball fan! I also enjoy walking on the beach, interior decorating, and going to church.
I began my career in dentistry as an office manager before deciding that the clinical side was what really held my interest. So, I went back to school to become a hygienist! In addition to cleaning teeth and performing oral cancer screenings, I consider myself to be an oral health advisor and strive to educate my patients so that they have the tools to make good choices in their homecare routine. I love my job and the relationships Ive built with my patients. Seeing them twice a year and catching up with all their interesting stories is one of the highlights of my job. The other is working with Dr. Nabors. She is the most compassionate, caring dentist I know. Her genuine love for her patients and staff is why I work for this amazing woman.
I have been married for 22 years and am the mother of two sons, plus two cats and one amazing dog. Our family likes to travel, camp, and hike, and weve seen a large portion of the western U.S. Currently, I am training to hike Mt. Whitney in Fall of 2016 with my younger son; if I succeed, I will be as thrilled as someone who has just climbed Mt. Everest!
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and have lived in the Antelope Valley since 2009. I am the proud mother of an amazing daughter (who just happens to be a published author!) and have three grandchildren. My passion is rescuing animals. I currently have three dogs and one cat, and I want to educate and encourage others to rescue as well as spay or neuter their pets.

Dr. Nabors built a new front tooth for me out of composite, and it looks like my own tooth! Better than the one a different dentist did before! I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend her. She does great work.

Absolutely the most professional and kind dentist & staff I have ever been to. Dr. Nabors is an exceptional dentist who, without a doubt is truly interested in your needs and concerns. I will never have another dentist, but her.

My husband and I had been going to her for years with every 6 month teeth cleaning. Started going to a new dentist and was told that my teeth were over filled and now are cracking. So I now need to get 7 crowns. My husband was told that he has the worse case of bone deterioration that the new dentist has seen and that it didn't just happen over night. He just got back from the dentist because he had a tooth infection and they told him that she didn't completely fill the cavity so the tooth is rotted and had to be pulled. He has had three teeth pulled now because of the bone deterioration and this rotten tooth. He was told that he will loose his teeth and need dentures. Wouldn't go to her ever!

Best dentist around. She and her staff are nice and courteous. The wait isn't that bad and she is amazing at what she does. I have four front teeth that are extremely chipped and small and she built them back up and made them look normal again. Wonderful.

My wife & I have been with Dr. Nabors' office for years and while dental work is on no one's list of favorite activities, we find her friendly staff and reasonable wait times take a lot of the edge off. They have also been very accommodating when we've had the occasional emergency, a couple of times squeezing us in on just hours' notice. No problems ever with the work done, and on occasions where she has referred us to others for specialty work (dental surgery & implant) her suggestions proved to be equally satisfactory. As we have no dental insurance, price is a factor and we really appreciate that her rates seem quite reasonable....plus we get a senior discount.

Had all the faith in the world in her and believed that she was doing right by me and my family only to discover otherwise. Hard to put your trust in "Professionals" these days.

Great dental work and some of best staff out there, very friendly and relaxing. I usually have a hard time going to the dentist but not here, it's just so laid back that you don't worry. Very reasonable prices as well. Overall a very good experience.
