I am so grateful to Dr. Farris and his amazing staff for the wonderful work they do. Dr. Farris truly is an expert in his field. The surgery is painless and the recovery is process is surprisingly fast with minimal discomfort. The whole office is very friendly and I feel very lucky to have such a skilled Periodontal Surgeon in Sarasota.

Many people joke about attending something they'd rather avoid by saying, "yeah, I'd rather go to the dentist." People often/(should?) have routine dentist visits, so if one is in need of going to a gum specialist/doctor/surgeon, then already the situation is probably not their idea of Shangrila. That said, (now stay with me,) this is the closest one is going to get to a spa-like resort, honeymoon experience in any doctor's office. Whatever type of accident or mouth felony due to neglect or depression or just plain cruddy oral DNA has found you in need of help, you will find zero condemnation, reprimand, icy solemnity, ...well, in short, no public hanging... instead you'll be greeted with an insanely warm, congenial doctor whose bedside manner is professional and clearly top-notch enough to assure you that you are in great care, but whose compassion, upbeat "hey, I'm with you, let's-just-turn-this-ship-around" attitude is a seminally humane disposition shared by all his staff that he & they simply could not have been taught in training. One can easily see why this team has been working together successfully for so long & why so many people (like myself referred by my father referred by his dentist etc. etc. etc.) cannot shower enough accolades on Dr. Farris' practice. Even if geographically he is not as close to you as someone else you may be considering, this is your health so gift yourself by safely & securely putting it in his warm & expert hands. You'll thank him, your family will thank you, you'll thank yourself. If you read this far, I sense you're about to make the right decision. Blue skies ahead, you know? Jens Olin

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR.FARRIS FOR 20 YEARS NOW. HE IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST PERIODONTAL DOCTORS IN THE SARASOTA AREA. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR.FARRIS TO ANYONE WHOM AS MYSELF HAS PERIODONTAL DISEASE. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH EXCELLENT CHAIR SIDE MANNERS IF I MAY SAY SO. VERY COURTEOUS AND TAKES GREAT INTEREST AND CARE IN HIS PATIENTS. THE STAFF IN HIS OFFICE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY COURTEOUS AND TAKE GREAT CARE OF THEIR PATIENTS AS WELL. LOVE THIS OFFICE !

I was referred to Dr. Farris by my regular dentist. I have been completely satisfied with the work he has done for me. He takes a sincere interest in my dental health and guides me in taking steps to maintain my teeth and gums. I would recommend him without reservation to one in need of a periodontist.
