Hi, I'm Dr. Nick Harker. At my office in North Spokane, we serve patients all over the area from Metaline Falls to Colville, Chewelah, and back to Deer Park, Chattaroy, Colbert and Mead. I am passionate about dentistry and as a result I give every patient the time and care they deserve. Here at MyDentist we enjoy getting to know each of our patients and we appreciate you all! I love all aspects of general dentistry and we welcome kids of all ages. I am committed to providing you both a comfortable and quality dental experience.
Education and TrainingMy undergraduate was completed at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA. (go Eagles!) I was accepted to Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. At Marquette University, I was awarded a scholarship and also received an award from The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. While in school, I spent a considerable amount of time serving as a volunteer in providing dental care to underserved populations.
Specialties and ExpertiseI have an extensive range of dental skills as a general dentist. I attend as many continuing education courses as I can to keep up to date on new techniques so that I can provide the best possible care. We use intraoral photography to better educate each patient and help them make the best decisions for their oral health.From wisdom teeth removal to complete smile makeovers, together we can create the smile of your dreams.

PersonalAs a Washington native, I love Spokane and the outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, camping 4-wheeling and kayaking. I love to talk football, especially about the Seahawks and Packers. (when they play each other, I am always a Seahawks fan!) I am happily married to Christina, my beautiful wife of 14 years, and love being a father to our four children Camille, Eleanor, Winslow and Hazel ages 11, 9, 7, and 5. I cant wait to meet you and work together to create your healthy and beautiful smile!

I had my teeth cleaned. They are silky smooth. Very relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. I'll be back!! I went back 2 days later to have a cavity filled. Dr. Harker and his staff are very friendly and supportive. I've never felt so relaxed at a dentist before. No pain and no anxiety! They are great!!

I've had anxiety all my life for the dentist. My dentist sold his practice and I was worried. My teeth are a mess, I had lost my smile, lots of work to be done. I stayed with this new dentist, Nicholas R. Harker, and had lots of anxiety if I could do this. Well his staff is amazing, they got me a warm cloth with lavender and my dentist goes to work. I'm better with shots and so much work has been done for the better. I've got my smile back! My daughter and my 2 grandchildren are his patients also. I recommend this kind and gentle dentist and his staff to others!

I would highly recommend Dr Harker and his staff at My Dentist. It is good to have a dentist that you can trust to provide quality care. I like how he and the hygienist take the time to explain everything to me. They are professional and skilled, the office is clean and modern and the receptionist always has a smile!

Dr. Harker and his staff are super friendly and easy to work with. My visits always go smoothly. I have had no issues with any of the work they have done for me. They do a great job! The office is clean and has a nice, calming atmosphere. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Went in for an emergency extraction, the staff got me in right away got the tooth pulled, and out to pharmacist in about an hour.

Emily is fantastic at working the front desk and got me an appointment in such a good time frame thanks to a cancellation. I have a hard time taking a phone call during business hours because of work so she even texted me so we were able to set it up. Ary cleaned my teeth and took my xrays and was super sweet and gentle the entire time. I had a great experience and would recommend them!

Dr. Harker saved the day! My daughter was in so much pain and her usual dentist wouldn't see her for a month! Dr. Harker fit her in right away and she is no longer in pain. I can't believe her usual dentist wouldn't see her for a month. I'm so grateful to Dr. Harker for fitting us in. My daughter said she liked Dr. Harker way better than her usual dentist and when I asked how she liked her experience she said Dr. Harker and Christina were very nice and made her feel less worried about the pain she was feeling and the process they were going through to help her. She said they were very comforting and again, she likes Dr. Harker WAY better then the other dentist we were seeing. I highly recommend Dr. Harker!
