Dr. Neil Mandalia grew up in Newtown, PA where he began his journey toward orthodontics at a young age. Gifted with an aesthetic eye and an analytical mind, he first gravitated towards a career in architecture/engineering and then to cosmetic dentistry, following in his fathers and sisters footsteps. After an additional three-year residency and certification process, Dr. Neil has become one of an elite group of orthodontic specialists.
Dr. Neil began his journey to become an orthodontist at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he excelled in biology and business management. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2009, he was accepted into the prestigious Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. As Dr. Neil earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry in 2013, he was able to travel internationally to deliver necessary dental care to underserved communities around the world. His passion for the art and science of dentistry led him toward a residency in Orthodontics at the Roseman University of Health Sciences. There he was trained by some of the most well-known orthodontists in the field. During his orthodontic training, Dr. Neil also earned his MBA. Orthodontics is an evolving science that sees frequent changes in techniques, technology, and treatment. The education and training Dr. Neil has given him an opportunity to master, first hand, the best and newest technologies/ treatments in orthodontics.
Dr. Neil is excited to be working where he grew up, as they say, home is where the heart is! Dr. Neil would be in the culinary industry if it werent for orthodontics. For his patients, he has made a soft food recipe book including vegan, vegetarian, and healthy recipes. Dr. Neil loves to travel and recently has been to The Monaco Grand Prix. Dr. Neil and his team enjoy working out at the NAC and at Orange Theory Fitness!

When you get your braces on, you may feel general soreness in your mouth and teeth may be tender to biting pressures for 3 5 days. Take Tylenol or whatever you normally take for headache or discomfort. The lips, cheeks and tongue may also become irritated for one to two weeks as they toughen and become accustomed to the braces. We will supply wax to put on the braces in irritated areas to lessen discomfort.
To successfully complete orthodontic treatment, the patient must work together with the orthodontist. The teeth and jaws can only move toward their corrected positions if the patient consistently wears the rubber bands or other appliances as prescribed. Lack of cooperation following instructions and damaged appliances lengthen the treatment time so please follow instructions.

Wow! Came in to have my teeth whitened for the first time. What a difference! When all was done, I was at least two shades lighter. I would highly recommend teeth whitening to anyone looking for a brighter smile. Thank you Mackenzie and the staff at My Smiles! Dr. Neil and his staff are great! I have had such a wonderful experience working on my smile with Dr. Neil. Not only was he efficient, detail oriented, personable, and professional, but also very attentive to all of my questions, concerns, and needs. I conveyed to him exactly what I wanted, and what my biggest issues were with my teeth, and he cultivated a plan that was perfect for me based on what I told him I wanted, and carried out the plan accordingly. I have never had such a pleasant experience with any doctor I have ever had, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the outcome of how beautiful my teeth turned out! I am a professional singer, and perform in front of large crowds, so it was important that my mouth be in tip top shape, not only aesthetically, but also structurally. I was able to achieve both in a surprisingly short amount of time under the care of Dr. Neil. My Smile Orthodontist is a very clean, bright, and warm space with all of the latest technology. The entire team is excellent, very skilled, and so sweet. If you are an adult looking to get braces/Invisalign or want to get them for your children, I would highly recommend coming here. They really will give you the smile you have always dreamed of, and then some. I am so happy I chose My Smile! This experience is unlike any other orthodontic treatment you could ever imagine. Dr. Mandalia is the best orthodontist I've ever been to. His office is beautiful, clean, luxurious and high tech. He is extremely knowledgeable, and takes time to explain the treatment thoroughly to achieve beautiful results. My son is not a fan of anyone being in his mouth poking around and tends to get anxious when appointments come up. But have no fear, because Mackenzie is here! Dr Neil is awesome and even more so bc he hires AMAZING STAFF. Mackenzie has gone out of her way to form a relationship of trust with my son when he is in her chair and appointments are now so much easier because of her. Thank you, Mackenzie and Dr Neil! The office was clean and beautiful. Truly felt like a spa and the service was professional and state of the art. I was in and out within 30 minutes and recieved great insight into my next steps. Fees were cheaper and the services were far better then other offices.

I had a great experience at MySmile. The staff is awesome, very friendly and made you feel comfortable. They treat you like family there. Dr. Neil's attention to detail and his ability to communicate the best plan of care was something I was not used to from other orthodontics. The state of the art technology they have is unmatched. Madison and Dr. Mandalia were super helpful, very friendly, and incredibly accommodating. I was able to schedule an appointment the very next day when I needed one quickly. The office is very welcoming, with coffee, water and iPads available for the kids while they wait. Dr. Mandalia takes pride in ensuring his patients are as comfortable as possible during their appointments, and he and his staff go out of their way to help patients as much as they can. They have movies playing that patients can watch during their appointments to take their mind off being at the orthodontist. And the office is beautiful with gorgeous marble throughout and incredible art to look at in the waiting room. My Smile Orthodontist is a great place for you and your family in all their orthodontic needs!

Been going for a few months and I'm really impressed with everything. Dr Neil is great. He takes time to listen , I never feel rushed through my appointments, he is thorough and explains all the steps and his office is super modern and clean. Maddison is extremely friendly and has worked with me every step of the way. It's an investment, I had to look into it and make my decision and I never felt pressured. I'm really glad I decided to go with them. I was always feeling self conscious about my smile and that affected my confidence. This has been a catalyst to a better, healthier me. Any questions I've had they've answered and I always feel really comfortable when I'm at the office. Honestly one of the best Decisions and investments I've made in myself by going to Dr Neil .

As soon as I walked into My Smile Orthodontist, I felt warmly welcomed and already knew I was in good hands. The place is astounding and is probably one of the cleanest places I've ever been to. Madison performed my teeth whitening procedure and she walked me through every step and explained everything in detail. She made the experience fun as she made me laugh and feel comfortable the whole time by checking in on me. Dr. Neil even checked up in on me to make sure I didn't need anything. Besides my experience being amazing, my teeth came out so extremely WHITE! I've always struggled with stains on my teeth from coffee/wine/soda and sadly starting to age (lol) but my teeth looked brand new after the procedure. Thank you so much My Smile Orthodontist and the staff for giving me my smile back! I no longer feel insecure to smile :)

This is the most beautiful and luxury doctor's office I've ever been to. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and in no time I was seen by a doctor. The whole process was very high tech, they have an amazing technology and I was able to see my simulated results before the treatment even started. The doctor was very knowledgeable but also made me feel at ease about the entire process. He pinpointed in a 3D digital image every way that he could make my smile look better and how it would affect my overall face and teeth health. Very great and chill staff overall. I can't imagine going through my treatment anywhere else. The whole experience is 11/10!!

My daughter was super nervous and weary of the orthodontist. The team at My Smile put her at ease from the second we walked in the door. They provided a comprehensive treatment plan that was more detailed and understandable then any other orthodontist we had consulted. Their pricing was in line, but what sold us was and amazing customer service with insurance acceptance. . We left our first visit feeling valued and comfortable, and knowing that our daughter was receiving state of the art treatment, tailored to her needs. My daughter left her second appointment, braces on- beaming ear to ear knowing her smile will soon be something she is proud of and can stop hiding behind a half closed is smile. I am very greatly for this office working with us.

He also did an excellent job on said request :) Super chill personality which immediately put me at ease. He has a conservative treatment philosophy and made sure I was totally comfortable - I actually had a blast haha. Was fun chatting about dental research. Office is also state-of-the-art, boutique style, and discreetly designed if you're into that kind of thing. Highly recommended!
