I love working with children; it is the main reason I became an orthodontist! My goal when I entered my career was to become the leading caring orthodontist CT. My own treatment as a child had such a positive impact on me. It gave me the confidence to smile uninhibitedly, and I have always believed that there is nothing more beautiful than a childs smile.
Orthodontics is not an easy undertaking, and it is my job to be as helpful, patient, and understanding as possible in order to help my patients achieve the results they have always wanted. This carries through to patients of all ages! It is very rewarding to watch my younger patients grow during their treatment and become more responsible and self-aware of their health. Adult treatment carries similar advantages. Watching them gain the confidence and determination to finally take charge of their smile and oral health is wonderful!
The technological advances made in dentistry not only allow me to optimize treatment results, but they have also made the treatment itself easier on the patient. As new advances continue to evolve, more comfortable treatment allows me to meet my goal to be a caring orthodontist CT. Digital radiography, intraoral scanners, and amazing software programs allow us to do things we have never been able to do before! These advances involve the ease and acceleration of treatment, making it more aesthetic, comfortable, and rewarding. I dedicate many hours to continuing education on new technology, whether through conferences are given by associations or courses offered by private companies.
I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. I speak French, English, and Greek, as both my parents are Greek immigrants. My husband, Peter, is from Stamford, Connecticut. We always knew we wanted to come back here following our studies. We decided to move to Trumbull for the good schools and a great community. All in all, its a great town surrounded by more great towns! We have been very happy making our life here.
Peter and I have four children, George, Kyra, Alexander and Johnny. Ice skating, and taking the kids to the parks and attractions our beautiful community has to offer, are our favorite ways to spend free time.

Becky is from New Jersey and moved to Fairfield, CT after graduating college. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Becky also enjoys being outdoors, whether it is walking a trail, relaxing at the beach, or playing games in the backyard.
CC is our insurance coordinator. She specializes in serving all of your insurance needs from verifying coverage to preparing claims. If you have any questions regarding your insurance, please do no hesitate to reach out!
CC is from North Haven, CT and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Bridgeport. Aside from going to school and being a team member at My Smile, she enjoys dancing, the holiday season, and spending time with her family and friends.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. I'm am sorry to say that our experience in this office has been absolutely terrible. It has been impossible to communicate with the doctor about my daughter's orthodontic treatment. I even wrote long emails and left messages and nobody would listen to our concerns, it has been incredibly frustrating. As a parent to simply be shut down from your kid's treatment is scary! I understand that due to COVID parents can't go into the office with their children but this is ridiculous. I think the doctor is very capable but the lack of communication is just not ok.

My son who's Autistic has been coming for years and they take very good care of him. He enjoys coming and choosing new colors for his braces. He had an overbite which is corrected and his smile is much better thanks to My Smile. Thank you.

I love Dr. K! She's a really good orthodontist. You just you have to be on scheduling. They are super accommodating but it's better if you set up a regular appointment schedule.

Absolutely love it here!!! My Daugther hated her teeth and smile, a little less then 2 years and Haley absolutely loves her teeth and can't stop smiling. Dr. Maria is an amazing Orthodontist and she also has a great staff working with her... I Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a beautiful smile

Consultation went well. Staff is very friendly. Options were explained clearly. Doctor is willing to work with periodontist to develop best treatment plan. I will most likely take my son there too.

We Love Dr. Karayiannis and her staff they are friendly and professional. They are gentle and kind as well. My son was nervous about his appointment but they made it easy for him. Would definitely recommend this office over any other!
