Dr. Caresa Doakes is a Kansas City, Missouri native. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology, Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri St. Louis. After working for two years as a scientist in the biotechnology industry, Dr. Doakes decided to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist.
Dr. Doakes attended the University Of Missouri Kansas City School Of Dentistry, earning her DDS in 2014. Upon graduation, she received The Quintessence Award for Restorative Dentistry and The John R. Killip Leadership Award. Not only is Dr. Doakes a diplomat of the International Dental Implant Association, but she is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Missouri Dental Association, The American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. Dr. Doakes has obtained advanced training with continuing education courses that include Implant Seminars, Gerety Orthodontic Seminars, FastBraces and Invisalign. As a lifetime learner, she is currently in pursuit of an advanced dental degree at USC in the subjects of Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine.
Following her belief in giving back to those in need, Dr. Doakes has participated in missionary trips providing dentistry for those who would otherwise not receive the care. She is passionate about changing lives by giving beautiful smiles. She loves spending time with her husband, son, and nephew. Her hobbies include dancing, drawing, and playing the cello.

I had a great visit! These ladies were fun if visiting a dentist can be fun! I had a good check-up with one or two follow up appts needed....will definitely recommend!

I had my root canal and crown done on Jan or Feb. Dr. Kimble didn't put post (hope I spelled correctly)b/c my tooth was still healthy. I paid full price at one time (out front (with post estimated). I asked again if coding needs to be changed. Both doctor and front desk kept emphasizing that post is only worth 50 bucks, so I wouldn't expect much back. I told them that it's not just about money. I want my chart correct. Front desk told me she already filed to insurance company and it's hard to change at this moment and she will file correction after first file go through. It has been 7 months. Never heard from them. They could have my whole family's business this year for annual check and teeth cleaning, but just for that 50 USD, I let my husband take daughter back to original dentist who is not in network this year, and pay out of our packets.

They are absolutely wonderful with my teenage grandchildren. I don't want them terrified of dentists like I was. They make the kids want to come back! They are exceptional people!

Dr Doakes is amazing. She got my teeth really clean! She also cleaned my 7 year old sons teeth. He was really afraid to get his teeth cleaned and she was really good with him, very patient. We will be back!

Just had 4 cavities, cleaning and crown by Dr Amber Mills. Very pleased with her friendly calming, instructive highly competent care that I received. My wife recently had similar work by DR Doakes here also so I can highly recommend these two dentists as well as great assistants, hygienists, and office staff.

I got a day off and we had 2 appointments. I told them that I want to get my tooth fixed on the phone. They just did some X-rays and told me to come back another day. They used to be good not any more.

I want to try it for a few months to get some crowns done, but the work wasn't done well. Dr. Kimble was not professional when I asked him about the final product in one. The assistant finished the crown without his inspection. The staff is great no complaint. I have seen many dentists since I moved around a lot, so I know about crowns working with one years ago.

I have been very apprehensive about receiving dental care, due to a very bad experience long ago. I broke a wisdom tooth, in a way that left a sharp edge, rubbing the side of my tongue, which made it painful to eat, drink, and speak. This facility, made time to fit me in, to perform an exam, buff the sharp edge, enough to make it tolerable, until I could come back, for the tooth to be extracted. Fast forward three weeks. Returned for the extraction, as greeted with smiles, Mary up front took care of the formalities professionally, and courteously. Sue was great assisting Doctor Kimble , who kept me aware of what was being done, and what to expect. On a scale from 1-10, this facility would get a 20. I left very satisfied!

This is an awesome place to get your teeth done. Dr. Kimble is almost as good as Sue is. lol JK Doctor Kimble is awesome too!! One of the best Dentist that you can trust with your teeth.

I'd give them a zero if I could! I had surgery to remove my remaining teeth. They overdosed me, then drug me to my daughters car! She called my PCP and he told her to take me to the emergency room. I spent the night and next day in the hospital. The ER tried to contact the emergency number but no one answered. When I said something to the doctor he denied it, basically calling my daughter a liar. I have proof. Then when I went back to get my teeth alignment, after paying over $8000.00 and being assured I'd never have to pay anything else they now want $650. to align just the uppers! I'm going elsewhere where I can get it done for $139.00. I called My Smile in LSL and they said they are no longer affiliated with them.

I had another great experience today. Everyone is friendly and efficient. I've been seeing Annette for years. She's always on time and is interested in any concerns I may have. It makes going to the dentist an almost enjoyable experience.

In the last five years I have been to six different dentist officers. Until I found My Smile Center I had no idea what a great dentist and his staff was! Dr. Kimball, Sue and Lin da are the nicest people ever. They are all kind and gentle making it a pleasant and pain free experience. My smile has never looked better!

I had Linda as my hygienist and the cleaning was super gentle! I recommend this office to anyone with dental fear, they put you at ease. The dentist was very knowledgeable as well. Definitely coming back.
