Ronald Saffar, DDS, is a board-certified orthodontist and the owner and founder of My Orthodontist, a practice with locations throughout New Jersey, including Deptford Township, Lawrenceville, Cliffside park, Bayonne, West New York, East Orange, Cherry Hill, and Patterson, as well as Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Saffar specializes in managing challenging orthodontic cases including patients requiring jaw surgery in addition to conventional orthodontics. By creating beautiful smiles, hes able to fulfill his passion for making positive changes in peoples lives.
Dr. Saffar earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University School of Medicine in New York City, where he also received additional training in orthodontics at the postgraduate level. Afterward, he stayed at NYU School of Medicine to complete a six-month surgical orthodontics fellowship to subspecialize in surgical orthodontics.
As an active and respected member of the greater dental community, Dr. Saffar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Mercer County Dental Society, Hudson County Dental Society, and Mid Atlantic Dental Society.
Dr. Saffar makes his home in Belle Mead, New Jersey, with his wife Parissa and their daughter Nikki. When hes not working or spending time with family and friends, he enjoys exercising, meditating, traveling, skiing, and playing tennis, golf, chess, and piano.

I went here and they gave me a date to get braces but guess what! I waited a whole hour to get put in the chair, just to wait another 30 minutes to not get braces when they specifically told me I was getting braces that day

My daughter has had their braces with them for over a year! Not one issue !! They are very professional, very clean, fast, and their appointments are what they say they are !!!! Amazing staff

This place is rediculous. You schedule an appointment, you're not seen till an hour or plus later - but if you're late for an appt, they cancel after 15. I'm glad my son no longer has to come here for braces. They do not understand the meaning of appointments and parents who have to miss work due to the lack of keeping said appointments. And this is why I got my invisaligns at another location. I'd recommend going to a family dentist or something that specializes in orthodontics then here. But glass half full the ladies at the front desk are nice and apologetic but management has GOT to do better.

My visit was amazing, there's never a long wait time, and once you're in the back you are serviced right away. There was no pain while receiving my attachments for my aligners, and the dentist was very informative. Highly recommend.

Every time there is a delay. Usually it's 30 minutes but yesterday we were at the office for almost two hours. My son said he was just sitting there waiting to be worked on. I saw others who had later appointment times finish and leave before us. It took the dentist all of 20 minutes to place the lower brackets but my son was in the operatory for almost two hours. I did not receive any information from the front office about why there was a delay. The dentist just said oh we were backed up, like it was no big deal having wasted our time. Just very disappointed!!

Great doctor , but the wait is always super long about a hour each visit . Want they money on time and want you to be on time but have you sitting for a while.... Not sure if they double book or what my app was 10:15 am didn't get called until 11:13 pm .

Everyone here was very friendly. But you can tell their goal is to get your money rather than working with your wants and needs. I've previously had braces and only need my top redone as I have an open bite because of wisdom teeth. My bottom teeth aren't perfect but they do not need braces as they are relatively straight. They don't allow only one row to be done, but stated they will put on the top row first then, a month later, the bottom. They do not allow clear braces for top AND bottom. Payment plans are reasonable after the large deposit. I will probably not be returning only for the previous reason. Overall nice office, very clean, and friendly staff

The wait was way too long. Employees see you standing there and keep right on going by without being polite "the doctor is with another patient," or "just a few more minutes" nothing. The place is FREEZING COLD. I wish I had went some where else. Then there is a sign on the window that says "The whole world is understaffed. Please be patient. That says a lot and its sarcastic. Sorry I gave you a star. Poor service. Very poor!

The Doctor here is impatient and doesn't listen to clients. I told the doctor I had an allergy and he still placed nickel braces in my mouth. I had a very poor experience and will be relocating!!
