Ronald Saffar, DDS, is a board-certified orthodontist and the owner and founder of My Orthodontist, a practice with locations throughout New Jersey, including Deptford Township, Lawrenceville, Cliffside park, Bayonne, West New York, East Orange, Cherry Hill, and Patterson, as well as Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Saffar specializes in managing challenging orthodontic cases including patients requiring jaw surgery in addition to conventional orthodontics. By creating beautiful smiles, hes able to fulfill his passion for making positive changes in peoples lives.
Dr. Saffar earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University School of Medicine in New York City, where he also received additional training in orthodontics at the postgraduate level. Afterward, he stayed at NYU School of Medicine to complete a six-month surgical orthodontics fellowship to subspecialize in surgical orthodontics.
As an active and respected member of the greater dental community, Dr. Saffar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Mercer County Dental Society, Hudson County Dental Society, and Mid Atlantic Dental Society.
Dr. Saffar makes his home in Belle Mead, New Jersey, with his wife Parissa and their daughter Nikki. When hes not working or spending time with family and friends, he enjoys exercising, meditating, traveling, skiing, and playing tennis, golf, chess, and piano.

Impossible to contact them!! I have been calling for the past 4 weeks, sent emails, tried texting, sent messages from their online website. I haven't received any response!! My daughter has suffered an emergency with her braces and it was impossible to get someone to help her. ....but they take my money every month!!

They are amazing here and have worked quickly to help my daughter get braces so she can smile. Not only did they help and care about my daughter needing braces they managed to help get her in on short notice with my hard schedule.

Im really happy with the results with the braces on for only a year there's still on but like they told me I will only have them on for two years till the teeth get completely straighten and they are so the braces can be off any time now. Their staff is very helpful and patient

Definitely need better employees. I called because they owe me money from a service that they didn't provide. The receptionist answered the phone put me on hold a.k.a listening to them check in patients. I could of written down patients date of birth etc. HIPPA violation ? that was for 20 minutes.

They have improved on their waiting time. It's not too bad lately and they always do a great job, it was just the waiting that used to take forever. But it has been great last few appointments I would definitely recommend.

The manager name Mrs Patel is help full and pleasant as well as the doctor who work on my daughter, also alot of new employee but the employee working there for a longer time are professional and polite. Thanks.

I first had braces when I was 16 in high school wanting to perfect my smile before graduation. My Orthodontist made that dream happen. Graduation day, my smile was pearly and perfect. Of course over the years unexpected things happened, where unfortunately I needed re-treatment. It was nothing major just a few teeth deforming back to their original state. However, I trusted My Orthodontist would help me In regaining the beautiful smile they once adorned. Very understanding group, even during this pandemic. Yea wait time is long at times, but I suspect that unforeseen things happen in their chair or in the office. I use to work for surgeons so i understand sometimes they cannot control certain things that happen in the office. Advise? I recommend coming mentally prepared that you may be called at your appointment time or there will be a wait. The respect we're given as the patient, other patients deserve as well. You would want your loved one attended to regardless the situation, so keep that in mind. But any who, It's almost time to trade these braces in for a retainer Baby !! In a few months, I'll show the world my beautiful smile again. Here are a few pics after taking my braces off the first time.Thank you Much, My Orthodontist!

My daughter had her braces done at the Lawrence office a few years ago, never had a problem with the staff ,always very pleasant. Today we went to replace her retainers and was so rudely and unprofessionally treated by the Doctor who I find out after is also the owner. Dr. Saffar, I can not believe how he spoke to my daughter and myself ,it was unacceptable!! The staff apologized for his behavior but I will never go back and I will never recommend his practice again.

They served me a payment plan that i signed and agreed to have the payment taken from my account on 25th instead they charge my account 2 weeks later now I have to go and block them from my account because i never agreed for them to just take hundreds of dollars whenever they feel like it. I am angry so I will be filing a complaint
