Ronald Saffar, DDS, is a board-certified orthodontist and the owner and founder of My Orthodontist, a practice with locations throughout New Jersey, including Deptford Township, Lawrenceville, Cliffside park, Bayonne, West New York, East Orange, Cherry Hill, and Patterson, as well as Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Saffar specializes in managing challenging orthodontic cases including patients requiring jaw surgery in addition to conventional orthodontics. By creating beautiful smiles, hes able to fulfill his passion for making positive changes in peoples lives.
Dr. Saffar earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University School of Medicine in New York City, where he also received additional training in orthodontics at the postgraduate level. Afterward, he stayed at NYU School of Medicine to complete a six-month surgical orthodontics fellowship to subspecialize in surgical orthodontics.
As an active and respected member of the greater dental community, Dr. Saffar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Mercer County Dental Society, Hudson County Dental Society, and Mid Atlantic Dental Society.
Dr. Saffar makes his home in Belle Mead, New Jersey, with his wife Parissa and their daughter Nikki. When hes not working or spending time with family and friends, he enjoys exercising, meditating, traveling, skiing, and playing tennis, golf, chess, and piano.

Affordable, friendly, clean and efficient. We've had two first kids go to Tenbrook and both had problems. Used My Orthodontist for the third. They have been great and completely without issue. Highly recommend!

You drive all the way up there just to be told you need your parent or legal guardian when you are over 18 years old. Receptionists is very rude.

Overall the staff is warm and inviting. There's one employee who is always bubbly and very welcoming(sits at the front desk) She is much appreciated. However, there's one employee who sits at the check in desk to the far left, could be more friendly and personable. I arrived late a couple times and her tone and attitude was less than welcoming and she reiterated 3x for me to make sure I'm on time. (One via text the other 2 verbally in front of me.) I understand the value of being on time but often times "life happens" , however, there has also been plenty of times where the office may run behind and need to apologize to customers for not being on schedule. Customer service is also about tone and delivery and understanding. Smiles are also welcomed.

I rarely to get say everyone congruently treats me well in such a large atmosphere. If I'm late to an appointment, late on my payment or just had a rough morning on the way to Deptford, these ladies really seem to make my day better. Realizing how much stress they are under while still treating everyone with the utmost respect is motivating to me. Empowering? I signed my contract and I'm locked in, but they still treat me like I can leave at any time. Bedside manner at 9AM is better than how people treat me when they want something!!! I should've made the review a long time ago, but today's visit was the reminder Thank you Dr Shah(someone whose work ethic endowed her to work pregnant during a pandemic, which put many people without jobs to shame), Ms. Mildred as well as many other excellent young ladies who have helped me with billing, appointment scheduling and the oral examination processes. I wish your team were dentists as well. Consider this review as part of your research in wondering if My Orthodontist in DEPTFORD NEW JERSEY is worth your time or not. You can go look at my other reviews if Google gives you access. I've torn companies apart before and I'm quite honest...

Not a fan of this place, the girl at the front desk was rude when informing me that masks are required. Before I even entered the door, the girl behind the front desk stood up yelling at me that I had to reschedule. Didn't want to explain why just rudely said read the sign pointing to a hand written paper hung on the glass door. Thankfully another parent had 2 extra masks for us. I never recieved any previsit call to inform me of this rule and was quite taken back by their behavior. While there, I observed staff with no masks on and staff with their masks not on properly and yet they will turn you away and make you reschedule without any advance warning. Also they do not provide you a mask either. Just the whole place put me off. Will be considering other places.

Everybody in the back is very kind, helpful and have a good bed side manor. The secretaries might need some classes on how to deal with the public. They have been rude to me and I have seen them be rude to others.

The job isn't done yet, but as for workers and doctors, well, it's always a pleasant experience. And the payment plan is definitely within my budget. Thank you and keep up the great work. I'll repost when the braces come off and hopefully can give it 5 stars .

Female orthodontist was great as well as the back office staff. The front office leaves something to be desired. Rude, disrespectful and not welcoming. They should know they are the first people that a patient sees and if they are rude it reflects on all of the employees, including the doctors. Front office staff should be better trained. If not for this issue I would have given the office 5 stars.

My daughter and I been a client for 3 yrs now, I must say they have done a wonderful job. I already referred a couple of people to them and they love it also. The staff is awesome and friendly. I will always recommend this place to anyone that's looking to get a better smile
