Dr. Browns top priorities are your childs comfort and satisfaction. He realizes that children deserve to experience a gentle, positive approach to their dental care, and has worked and trained extensively to build a practice that exceeds your expectations. More than anything, he knows what it means to be a concerned parent.

Dr. Brown was honored with multiple awards while in dental school, most special to him being the Dr. Solomon Averbach Humanitarian Award, which recognized his ability to demonstrate compassionate patient care. After completing his schooling, he remains active in the dental community as a member of the Arizona Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Brown is the only pediatric dentist in the Prescott area honored with the distinguished status of Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry; this nationally recognized status reflects his commitment to scholarship, leadership, and his dedication to giving back to his community. Having practiced dentistry in the quad cities area since 2007, Dr. Brown considers one of the most rewarding parts of his job to be seeing former patients bring their own children into the office to receive the same quality care.

Apart from offering trusted, expert, and effective treatment, Dr. Brown also enjoys being an active part of his community. As a former Roughrider soccer player himself, he currently enjoys volunteering as the Dentist of the Yavapai College Soccer Team. Dr. Brown still enjoys playing and coaching soccer and is very involved in the Yavapai Soccer League. In addition to soccer, he also enjoys participating in humanitarian aid projects.

Throughout his life, he has been fond of spending time in the great outdoors; camping, hiking, and mountain biking are among his favorite pastimes. With a life full of worthwhile projects, he finds his greatest joys come from time spent with his beautiful wife, Krista, and their four children.

Dr. Courtney is over the moon excited to be back in her hometown of Prescott, AZ. After completing her pediatric dental residency, she enjoyed returning to work in sunny Arizona, where she practiced pediatric dentistry in the Phoenix area for two years. She is thrilled to move back home and raise her own children close to their grandparents and extended family.

As a mother herself, and an aunt to eight wonderful nieces and nephews, Dr. Courtney has always been interested in working with children. She also has a love of science and earned her bachelors degree in biochemistry, as well as a masters in chemistry.

Dr. Courtney enjoys being involved in the dental community and is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the American Dental Association. She feels grateful to have found a career that incorporates all the things she loves. The practice of pediatric dentistry fulfills her passion for helping children, as well as her love of science.

Hi! My name is Hannah Young (Peterson); I am one of the My Kids Dentist hygienists. If I am not working, you will usually find me outdoors with my family. I love hiking, hunting, paddle boarding, and adventuring outside! I have worked in the dental field for 20 years. I have worked with Dr. Brown as a hygienist here at My Kids Dentist since 2009 and love working with the staff and children here! My interest and education in the dental field started in high school when I decided tochallenge myself into facing a childhood fear of the dentist and work at a local pediatric/special needs dental office. I enjoy helping children have the best dental experience possible as well as providing oral health education for parents and patients. Hi! I am a native of Arizona, born and raised on the Colorado River. My family and I relocated to the Prescott area in July of 2014. I have been in the medical and dental fields since the late 1990s, working in various positions prior to discovering my true passion for dental hygiene. I am an excellent communicator and consider myself a very compassionate, yet comprehensive healthcare provider.

I have been a member of the MKD team since February 2015. Dr. Brown is a fabulous dentist and I really enjoy working with him and the other team members. I have lived in Prescott with my husband, Karl, since 1996. We have two children, Emma and Jensen. We like to travel, play games, watch movies, hike, and eat good food!

I have been working at My Kids Dentist since January 2011. Prior to joining My Kids Dentist I worked as the office manager for a medical office in California for eleven years, and have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. I have two amazing kids! I moved here to Prescott from Las Vegas two years ago with my husband Bryce, and our children; Chase, Ryann, Brenna, and Connor, who are all teenagers. I absolutely love it here in Prescott! I love children, riding horses, watching my children do sports and activities, spending time with my husband and family, and going to the beach!
