Typically, a revolution takes the form of an organized movement aimed at effecting changeeconomic change, technological change, political change, or social change. The people who start revolutions have determined the institutions currently in place in society have failed or no longer serve their intended purpose. In modern times, especially in the area of technology, these revolutionaries are called disruptors.

Doctors Donald Sabourin, Joel Hayden and Aaron Rauen have been some of the top providers of accelerated orthodontics in the United States for nearly a decade. Drs. Sabourin and Hayden grew their single general dentistry office into multiple ortho-only offices in Mid-Michigan and Southeast Michigan, becoming the largest providers in the world of the previous system they were using. Dr. Rauen has done extensive research in orthodontic systems, and with Sabourin and Hayden has developed the My Forever Smile Braces System. As far as a technological revolution goes, we simply look at the tools that are available in the industry, and after much development, use them in the most efficient and effective manner. Seems like someone in orthodontics should have figured this out years ago.

Our system relies on several facets working together to move teeth fast and more efficiently. The combination of brackets, wires and elastics, along with proper bracket placement results in the beautiful smiles we see at the end of our patients treatments. Treatments at our offices usually take between 10 and 16 months, with many patients finishing much faster. Our patients also report less discomfort during treatment. The biggest revolution that My Forever Smile Braces System is at the center of is a social revolution. Our system delivers fast, gentle, and affordable treatment to many segments of our population that could never before afford braces due to the high cost and years of treatment. Our system shortcuts the process, not the results. Less time in a dental practice chair means lower costs for the provider and that means lower costs for their patients.

The place is very nice and so is the staff. I had my braces almost 2 years. I complained about how I didn't feel a difference in my teeth when it was time to get a monthly tightening. Got braces taken off and teeth started spacing back out and I was wearing the retainers 24/7. They told me I wasn't and forced the other set of retainers back in to close my spaces. The retainers are trash and after so long they are not working. Now I have to get braces all over again. The company didn't remove my wisdom teeth. My bite is not right and I can't chew my food properly. I informed them about this as well. I also told them I didn't think it was time for my braces to come off because I still see and feel the spaces. Go else where because you'll end up paying for the process again but with a different company.

Staff here are great, nothing bad to say about them. However I've had braces put on by them twice. First time my teeth moved dramatically after getting them off. I went back and they put them back on free of charge after admitting that they were removed too soon. Here I am 4 months after getting them removed and my teeth are once again shifting a very noticeable amount to the point where my bite is no longer closed even after wearing my retainers 24/7 for 2 weeks longer than you are supposed to because I was terrified of this happening AGAIN. There was a different person working on my teeth every time I went in so the treatment was very inconsistent. I don't know if it's their process or what but this system is not very effective. I now have to start all over at a different orthodontist.

Honestly did not have a great experience here. Most of the staff there are bluntly rude , especially to POC! They were more interested in taking the money than focusing on my teeth. Not even a week after my braces were off they shifted, DIDNT even give me the option to get metal retainers. Also not to mention, my bite was never closed. However yes its affordable, but if we're speaking long term progress its not worth it.

Horrible, I told the dental hygienist I wasn't satisfied with my teeth yet for the braces to be off. Her exact words, " this is the straightest they can get." Now I have to pay and go through the whole process again but at least it will be at a good orthodontist.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GET THERE BRACES DONE HERE!! If you have a full time job or are a full time student look elsewhere! This company caters to the staff not the patients. The hours are ridiculous and subject to change without the patients knowledge and you'll be the one left responsible to figuring out how to proceed from there; you may have to consider ending you dental service prematurely without satisfaction (my current situation). Non-Troy residents especially explore all of your options before you make physical and financial investment!! The staff has a O'well attitude and they cover themselves with a "satisfaction NOT guaranteed" clause so buyers BEWARE! I've been attending this office over a year my teeth are in the same condition they were in when I started. There is absolutely no accommodation at all on the behalf of the company just an abrupt schedule changes and poor management . I'm very disappointed and frustrated with my experience here. if I could do it over I would have definitely chose some place else!

Horrible, the workers a very rude and every visit that I had there was a different worker. They never payed attention to any flaws in my teeth, and they pushed them back to the point where my teeth didn't show when I smile. They basically stole my money for doing nothing for my teeth, all they did was push them back. Now I have to go somewhere else and waste my money all over again because they didn't know how to do there job. SCAMMM AND WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

I was VERY satisfied with my daughter's results so I decided to get my braces here as well. My progress is coming along great! I really appreciate not having to be here all day; I'm usually in and out within a half hr or less. Still loving the staff, the professionalism and knowledge of the dental assistants and I'm looking forward to my final results. I always recommend this place to my friends & family.

My Forever Smile in Troy is the best of the best. The staff is so loving and welcoming! Always greeting you, always have a smile and never once have done anything wrong. I just had my braces taken off and I can't stop smiling. I went to a different place before coming here and they wanted to charge me 4,500 for 4 years. I took my siblings advice (they also came here) and called them for an appointment. I was surprised by the price and put my braces on the same day! I had Dee work with me for 2 years and this lady is AMAZING!!! she is so loving, caring and most of all patient. I also had Merna work on me for little and she is hands down amazing. Everyone here is so positive and I recommend everyone to try this place out! Sad to say, after 2 years or so, my last visit was yesterday...

This place is a joke. During my last appointment the medical assistant asked the Dr to come take a look at my teeth, she came back with the doctor and said I was all set. Prior to me going to the back she did the same for the person before me and the Dr. again didn't go back to check out the patients teeth. While I was in the waiting room the Dr. had his door open and I could hear him on the phone laughing and talking so he was not busy with work but with personal things which caused him to be too busy to speak or look at his patients teeth. I heard him on the phone asking someone to come in and put braces on and take "gallery" pictures. Once the Dr. didnt come to see me like the medical assistant asked i said to the assistant he's pretty busy today, and she made an excuse. I asked the secretary to change my case to the other Dr. there's only two a male and a female and i requested to change to the female dr. He than heard my request and not until that request he had time to come out but not time to take a look at my teeth. He asked why i wanted to see the other Dr and i told him "you didn't have time to see the patient before me or myself and i heard you on the phone the entire time laughing and talking which was not a work conversation. You don't have time for me and I'm not paying someone who doesn't have time for there patients". The Dr. got so upset he started pointing his finger at me you could tell he felt insulted, his skin turned red. I kept my composure because it was hilarious I've never seen a dr try to argue with a patient , you could tell he had never been challenged, i brung up hearing him ask for someone to put braces on and take gallery pictures he said " not that gallery" as if gallery had a different meaning when mentioning pictures. He gave several excuses as too why he didn't need to see me and I told him even if he didn't need to see my teeth as a Dr you should always speak to your patients whenever they're in the office even if the medical assistant does all the work. Instead of apologizing he went back and forth with his patient ( unprofessional ). After the incident the secretary Sue wanted to schedule my appointment and apologized we started to discuss what happen and in the midst of it other patients walked in and because she didn't want the patient to hear me say the Dr didn't have time to see me or the person before me she told to SHISH! Yes she said shish , i told her that was a word you use with a child and I am not a child and your at work that word shouldn't be in your vocabulary while at work talking to a client. Still willing to schedule my appointment, i told her i will go to the other location, which i did i called explained the situation and asked for my case to be transferred to the female Dr. which she did I get to the appointment and was told I couldn't be serviced because of the incident when really it was because Sue the secretary at the novi location was upset I transferred my case and then decided to cancel and didn't tell me until after I had already got to the appointment claiming I was called several times to let me know my case was dismissed. I didn't receive any calls prior to the day before my appointment which A voicemail was left and I didn't see. Long story short go somewhere that' cares and have time. I believe the company thinks there the only office that puts on braces and accepts insurance and payment plans. Save yourself the trouble and if you have to go here see the female Dr. Asked for them to remove the braces and Sue told me to find someone else to take them off and hung up. Sue if i wasn't doing better than you in life mentally , emotionally and financially I would call you a name instead I'll say a prayer for you and the Dr.

Very personable. My daughter was disappointed that she still has some teeth to come in before she can commit to braces, but the doctor kept us at ease......

Terrible! I did braces with them and it cost me around $3,000. Than once I got my braces off and received my second set (NEVER lost my first set) of retainers wore them for the time they told me too, then my family had noticed my teeth shifted so we called and scheduled an appointment they wanted to charge me a $1,400 fee for re-treatment. What fee is in the thousands? Also wanted to charge me and extra $112 for a bottom set of retainers. All this was about was money, they wanted to take 1,400 even after the 3,000. Don't waste your time or money.

They are so unorganized and I DO NOT recommend anyone to go to this location. The ladies are so unprofessional. I made a large payment so I won't have to make a monthly payment and they still required monthly payment. Which is ridiculous to me and no one informed me the month before. The office manager Davita is rude with a nasty attitude.
