Dr. Hurst was raised in Clinton, Iowa, a rural community on the Mississippi River in Eastern Iowa. There, he learned to love the feel of small-town life! During the years he moved all over the nation to pursue his education, he hoped to eventually find a place to settle that was similar to his hometown.
Dr. Hurst's first passion is his family. He has a beautiful wife and four children, and he loves spending quality time with them doing practically anything. He especially loves the outdoors and all it has to offer, from camping and hiking to swimming and boating. Dr. Hurst is an active leader in Boy Scouts of America, and he is an Eagle Scout himself. He also loves spending time indoors with good company playing nearly any type of board game or just laughing together.

I have nothing but good things to say about. My Dentist. thoroughly professional in every aspect of dental care. Facilities are top notch and with all the modern amenities that you usually only find in larger cities. I recommend them without a bit of hesitation.

I called to make an appointment with My Dentist. They got me in quickly. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Once I seen the hygienist again I have to say she was friendly and explained what was going to happen. I was referred to a different Doctor, I had a root canal that needed to be done. Which went well. Followed up with My Dentist again for my temporary crown. The dentist himself has heavy hands meaning he was pinching my lip and I let it go until I took not take it and more. While continuing to work more I was feeling so much pain I had to stop him again and he did give me some numbing gel. It was a rough visit. Now my crown has come in and I had a follow up for that today. Thinking the dentist had a bad day. I'm convincing myself it will be better. I go. All seemed well at first, he placed the crown and some cement was stuck behind the tooth, he said it had to come out which would cause infection. The hygienist tried couldn't get it out multiple times had to get him to try so he did over and over and over X-ray after X-ray after X-ray. He was so rough with the floss cutting my gums with it and lip. The bottom of my mouth is cut up from the X-ray tool that you bite down on. Bottom line my tooth is fixed right . Thank goodness I was strong enough to endure his tactics. The stars are for his staff.

Beat dentist I have ever been to. They are caring, compassionate, and understanding of your situation. I've always been terrified of going to the dentist but I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm quite impressed with this dentist's office. I feel they take good care of my teeth, explain things well, and are so warm and friendly! There is hardly any wait, they work quickly, and have you in and out in no time at all!

Awesome group of people! The dentist is a very down to earth guy that is easy to talk to and answers questions in a way you can understand. The dental hygienist there was great! Will definitely be using these guys indefinitely

Went to My Dentist Van Buren today for my awful mouth full of damaged teeth. Everyone there so friendly and helpful in advising me about the needs, the corrections available and the costs. I'm looking forward to being their patient.

The staff here are always so nice and the dentists are so nice, they really know how to deal with kids to I've never seen my daughter so well behaved at an appointment before. One staff member even brought her phone over and sat with them and let them watch disney+ to keep them entertained while i got x-rays done. We moved out of the area and I still drive the extra time to this dentist rather than find a different one!

I had my first visit at My Dentist today. I would give more than five stars if I could. This office made me feel so comfortable and welcome my entire visit. I would definitely recommend My Dentist to my friends and family!
