Dr. Pablo J. Fonseca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from University of Florida in 1984. He then went on to Indiana University, where he graduated in 1989 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach in 1990. Dr. Pablo J. Fonseca is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, Miami Dade Dental Society, Insurance Dentists of America, Federation Dentaire International, and University of Floridas Alumni Association. Dr. Fonseca is a past president of West Dade Dental Society and the Miami Dade Dental Society.
Dr. Fonseca is involved in the local community throughout organizations like Gator Club of Miami and University of Floridas Hispanic Alumni Association which provides scholarships for Miami residents attending University of Florida. He volunteers his time at charities like Baptists Dental Mobile Unit which provides free dental care for the indigent population of Miami Dade County.
He also volunteers his time at the Florida Center for Advanced Dental Education Community Smiles supervising foreign-trained dentists on their education while they treat uninsured, low-income children and families.

I recently moved to Miami and needed a dentist. I chose this place because of how nice and clean it looked in the photos and I'm happy with my choice. The Doctor and staff were very nice and the facility is immaculate.

Called me to set up an appointment - my assistant called them back and they said they will not schedule an appointment for me because I wrote a negative review previously. I don't even go to this office anymore - office is not wheelchair accessible or properly staffed. Getting records is a nightmare, and the cleaning was mediocre. I had a much better experience at HQ Dontics.

This Dentist is a Scammer!! I've tried to resolve this every other way. I confirmed prior to my appointment with the dentist that my insurance would cover a general checkup, the dentist assured me that it would. I made a deliberate point to specify that NO procedure would take place unless I was first advised of the co-pay. They have now charged me $337 for services that I was not advised of, did not agree to, that I did not ask for, or even receive. This is unacceptable and is malpractice -- I am seeking restitution.

Thank you so much!!! Lost a crown in the middle of the night on Friday of a three day weekend and literally every dentist in south Florida was closed. Called my dentist Miami Saturday Am and the most kind, efficient dentist got me in immediately. Beautiful, clean and very well- run office. Cannot thank them all enough! Muchas gracias!!

Best dentist in Miami. As soon as you walk in you will an office that is cleaner than any office you have ever seen. This is the first example that you're dealing with a dentist who is meticulous. His staff is great and well trained and every visit is a positive experience.

Dr. Fonseca saved me from excruciating pain, on a Sunday! Yes he offers emergency service and my infected wisdom tooth wasn't going to wait for Monday. Dr. Fonseca opened his office just for me, and very quickly took care of the tooth. He's got excellent hands, no pain during or after the extraction, and he's really super nice too. The office is clean and very modern, and very conveniently located in Brickell. I absolutely recommend Dr. Fonseca for all your dentistry and emergencies. Thank you Doc!!

Dentist is nice, and facility is nice/spotless. However they clearly don't run benefits to give patients accurate information. They said they take my insurance, but did not let me know they are not in network when i made the appointment. When I showed up she ran the benefits, and gave me the price since i'm out of network. I went ahead with it, since it was a simple exam and cleaning out of convenience, and then my credit card was charged 3x more a week later. Instead of billing a routine exam, i was billed for a comprehensive exam, even tho no xrays were performed. I asked for dentist to look into it, but have not heard back.

As a healthcare professional I understand and appreciated the efforts that Dr. Fonseca takes to provide a safe environment for his patients. His office is high tech and immaculate! Also, his staff was courteous and knowledgeable to all questions that I asked during my cleaning and dental exam. His office is a rare gem to find in the Brickell area. I shall return as soon as my next exam and cleaning is due!

My first time going to see Dr. Fonseca. I had some gum pain and he told me what was wrong and provided me with guidance on how to improve the healing process. I am Much better now. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean and organized. I will definitively come back here.

Great people, very informative and outstanding service. Dr. Fonseca was very helpful and made sure I was well informed before he went on with the procedure. In fact , It almost seemed painless and before I knew it he was finished, I'd recommend this place every single time.

Oh wow this place is amazing!!! They don't make you sit around and wait for hours before your appointment, they will use numbing cream on your gums if you are sensitive, the chairs massage your back during the cleaning, they are super fast super efficient. I can't say enough!

I've been seeing Dr. Fonseca at My Dentist in Miami for over 12 years and I've never had anything but great, professional service. I just finished my Invisalign treatment and had repair work done on chipped teeth and the results are outstanding - I am extremely happy with how everything came out. Dr. Fonseca and his staff go out of their way to make sure I am completely happy every time I leave. I would highly recommend them!

Buyer beware with this guy--it's one creepy, old dentist running a fraud. The way he looked at and spoke with a woman who walked in as I was leaving made me super uncomfortable--I would never send my wife or daughter to this place. And he charged me an out of pocket, uninsured rate, which my insurance only covered half of, so I got stuck almost $200 for a basic cleaning that should be fully covered by insurance. Also, the whole time I was in the seat he was giving sales pitches for random dental hygiene products; he tried to sell me a $40 bottle of mouthwash telling me it's only available by prescription, when it's on Amazon for $8. He told me I needed a filling replaced when the last two dentists I've seen said it was fine. Only go here if you want to be fleeced, over-treated, and creeped out.
