My Dentist in Hercules CA is owned and managed by Dr. Ashley Huong Ho who earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1997 from the University of California, Davis with highest honors. The research she performed for the Department of Microbiology at UC Davis won her an academic award. A bright student, she chose to be a dentist. She again graduated with high honors as a Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2002. Returning to California the same year, Dr. Ho proceeded to study specialized branches in dentistry including dental facial, advanced orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. She received a Master Clinician Certificate in Implantology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She regularly keeps in touch with the latest developments in the field of dentistry and cosmetic dental surgery.

My name is Fua Kue. I relocated to CA from North Carolina after I got married 2 years ago. I bring with me 6 years of experience as a dental assistant, having previously worked in a pediatric office. I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities. I am an amateur photographer and like new experiences. the two assistants didn't even know what a wisdom tooth was and proceeded to charge me for extra x-rays. The doctor (another doctor they referred) said they didn't even need to! how am i suppose to take an x-ray when i can't even bite down because my face is so swollen?? waste of money and time.

Don't waste your time and money here. The doctor will milk you for your money and the assistants have no idea what they are doing while the doctor just stands there idle. They deserve 0 stars if that was possible.

Great experience every time. Appointment reminders sent as text is very helpful. Staff is friendly and the dentists are very knowledgeable when it comes to educating about hygiene and the best products to use in between visits.

On my first appointment with "My Dentist", after Proof of my insurance and the routine examination, the young lady in the finance department, discuss with me the procedures that was to be done, and told me my told cost, which I then paid in cash, and part of the work was started that day. However, upon arrival on my next visit the young lady informed me that a mistake was made ,over six hundred dollar (Of course not in my favor). Also I had to complain several times to the dentist regarding the harden material that remained on my my teeth, (felt like sandpaper) She said "It would eventually wear off, couldn't be made any smoother, I had a lot of fillings, but there is hard material where there was no cavity. However, almost a year later it's still not smooth. Very sloppy work. This year, returned for my first 6 month cleaning was given an amount which included the annual deductible, which I paid, and my next cleaning would be this amount. Returned for my second 6 month cleaning for the year told the amount, paid it. Two or three months later get a statement for additional money. When I called about the additional amount, I'm now told they only give you an estimate of how much your insurance portion will be ???????????? I guess this is the new way of during business.

I would give zero stars if I could took Elderly grandma in for service after they said they took her coverage but charged her for x-rays that should've been free with her coverage and didn't offer her a yearly cleaning or nothing just wanted to sell her expensive crowns for teeth that are missing and broken. I would not recommend this office

Arrived early with prefilled forms,appt was at 3:30. Booked appt for the full treatment of x-rays, cleaning, and consultation and they had me down for something else but straighten it out, so I thought. Receptionist said she will add cleaning and we readjusted the fees and I paid. I didn't get called in till 4Pm. Sat and waited for X-rays, didn't see anyone for awhile. The x-ray block they used was Xtremely uncomfortable and took way too long. It took longer for the x-rays than the actual cleaning. It's 4:40 before the dentist got to me. I had to leave by 5 PM. Dr V said he will do it for me and get me out in time. It was the quickest cleaning ever and the gal who polished my teeth took longer than the actual cleaning and missed the top front of my teeth or she didn't do a good job. As I was leaving, I checked to make sure all is square and they tell me I didn't pay for the cleaning and owe money. I retold the event and luckily the receptionist sitting next to the gal overhead the change issue, they didn't have change for me...and was able to confirmed that I paid in full. Sorry, it was just really chaotic,slow, and the worse dental visit I have ever dealt with for a x-ray and cleaning! Not coming back!

I've been seeing this dentist for years now and I come back regularly when necessary. In the past, I got my braces procedure performed here. I still come back for routine teeth cleanings and x-rays too. Everyone here is really nice and knows what they're doing. As long as you schedule an appointment ahead of time the entire procedure is accomplished thoroughly and timely. Customer service is awesome, as they are welcoming and hospitable to all their guests. :))

Arrived 15 early for appointment. 2 patients came in after me were seen before me. Only wanted my teeth cleaned. Waited an hour before the they were even ready to clean my teeth- had to go back to work. What a waste! Typical California customer service!

I would give a less than one star if I could. I went to this office two years ago for the new patient offer of an exam & cleaning for $89. I left without a cleaning and an unethical estimate for $11K worth of fillings, deep cleaning and a mouth guard I did not need. I went to another dentist this week and received a clean bill of dental health. I have zero cavities and no gum inflammation requiring anything more than a regular cleaning even after four years of not having a professional cleaning. This office is not to be trusted.

I am now pain free while eating! I've had pain chewing on the left for at least 8 years! I've been told by my other dentist nothing is wrong. Ashley's office found the cracks in my tooth and placed a permanent crown and now I can eat without problems! I am so thankful! The office staff is great, very accommodating and I will go back as well as recommend this office for anyone. Thank you so much!
