I have had two consecutive routine checkups/cleaning canceled at the last minute due to hygienist availability. The receptionist can say "no one wants to work" and tell me it's not the practice responsibility, but ultimately you as a dental practice ARE responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels to allow you to operate. Both times I was traveling back hours in order to keep seeing my regular dentist, so needless to say I'm super disappointed in both the last minute cancelations and how they handled it. EDIT: I was told on 9/29 that rescheduling last minute cancelations was a priority, rescheduled for 10 am 10/12, called today 10/11 because I never got a confirmation text or email and apparently I wasn't in the system. Thank God a different receptionist was on duty today and she was able to pencil me in for only 30 minutes after what was supposed to be my new appointment time.

stay away!!!!! my wife have pain and the dentist says that she needs to make filling and a crown, and he made it. after a while my wife experience pain so she go to a another dentist a he told me that in place of a filling there is a need to make a root canal and the privies doctor made a mistake by making a filling in place of a root canal. the problem is that my insurance covers a crown only once in a while so i have to pay for a new crown by my self, so i call MW DENTAL and they told me that doctor Adams didn't make mistakes!!! and if i want my wife can come to the office and the dentist will check it out, so i told her that i don't want the same dentist again to repeat the same mistakes, so she knok down the phone on me! and when i called back and there was no answer. as i see (im (was) a patient too) they are very nice until there is any problem, but the doctor make a lot of mistakes and can only say with a smile "everything is fine see you in 6 months".

This is not an easy review to write as I had been going to Dr. Abdeh for 7 years and trusted him to take care of my teeth. In October 2020 I went to him for my normal checkup routine. He noticed I had a cracked tooth from years ago. The filling had fallen out and he said "We could fill it or leave it, but I suggest you fill it or food will get in there. But we can leave it." (He never did any real dental work on me, because for the 7 yrs I went to him, he never mentioned cavities on my X-rays. He only gave me a crown on a root canal done by a previous dentist. Dr. Abdeh would come in, check my X-rays, mouth, and do this very fast, then say "Everything is okay!" That's all he pretty much did.) He re-filled the cracked tooth, adjusted the bite, and I went home. Problems ensued on the tooth and I had to go back for him to adjust the bite again. I left his office, but I was still experiencing pain. I called his office not even an hour after leaving and no one answered. The office hadn't closed and I understood due to COVID restrictions, they weren't seeing many patients and hours were different. However, I had JUST left. I left voicemails about my pain during the week and no one returned my calls. I had no choice, but to seek out another dentist in my area since no one from MW Dental returned my calls. I made an appointment with the new place and was seen right away. My new dentist after seeing my X-rays said "We have to talk about some of the issues with your teeth." I was in shock because I never knew that I had any issues with my teeth. I kept saying "I don't understand. I brush, floss, and go to my checkups. I was never told I had any issues!" My dentist called MW Dental and lo and behold!- someone picked up the phone. He asked Dr. Abdeh to send over my X-rays and explained the situation to him, and he only wanted to send half of them, but my new dentist told me he requested that Dr. Abdeh send the full X-rays which he did. Upon looking at the X-rays together, my dentist showed me the cracked tooth Dr. Abdeh filled, there was a cavity that had been growing on the other side of the tooth. The cavity was big and it had already gone past the dentin and near the root. I also had a 2nd cavity on my top right molar near the root! The crown Dr. Abdeh had put on was done poorly. There was cement sticking out and the crown didn't even meet the gum line. My dentist explained that as time progressed the cement would hit the bone, and it would have caused complications in the mouth. I had pulp stones in the roots of my teeth from clenching at night and I would need a night guard. Dr. Abdeh never once went over any of this, but was always eager to push bleaching my teeth in his office as oppose to getting a night guard to protect my teeth. My new dentist cleaned and filled my top molar, properly replaced my crown with it meeting the gum-line, and fitted me for a night-guard. Unfortunately, my bottom cracked tooth, because of Dr. Abdeh's negligence, I had to have a root canal done. For all this, yes, I blame Dr. Abdeh because I trusted him to do his job, as I did my job as the patient: flossed, brushed, went to my checkups, and took care of my teeth- hence why I still have all of them including 4 wisdom after all these years. Dr. Abdeh failed to take his time and actually look at the X-rays of my teeth during the 7 yrs of going to him. (Doesn't take 7 yrs to spot cavities). I understand dentists may miss a cavity, but missing two cavities near the roots, not mentioning pulp stones near my roots, and doing a poor crown-fitting are inexcusable! Dentists don't have the luxury of neglecting their patients' mouths or else they shouldn't be dentists. A God-send no one called me back, because I never would have known the dental issues I actually had. I found a better place that actually saved my teeth and who knows from what other dental issues that could have happened. For those still going to him, request to see your X-rays and always ask questions even if "Everything is okay!" Thank you MW Dental for never calling me back!
