Welcome to Musso Family Dentistry! Our caring dentists and team are dedicated to helping you improve your oral health and enjoy a beautiful smile for a lifetime. We offer a full range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, orthodontics and sleep apnea treatment, and we will work one-on-one with you to create individualized treatment plans that meet your needs. Patients of all ages are welcome, and we will go the extra mile to help you feel comfortable throughout your visit.
Dr. Mike Musso was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. As a young child, he watched his father practice dentistry and knew that he wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Musso majored in zoology, with a minor in Spanish, at Texas Tech University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1990. He joined his father at Musso Family Dentistry and has been practicing for more than 27 years. Dr. Musso continues to hone his dentistry skills and has completed a number of advanced training programs and continuing education courses, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Gary Kadis NextLevel Practice and Invisalign training.
Dr. Musso values the relationships he has built with our patients over time. His goal as a dentist is to provide total care for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Musso has three children. He enjoys his childrens activities, whether going to his sons football games or watching his daughter cheerlead. He also loves coaching his daughters basketball team. His sons are both extremely talented and play in a Beatles cover band. Dr. Mike spends time at his lake house, where he fishes and knee boards. He also enjoys travelling anywhere with a nice tropical view or skiing.
Dr.Bounds enjoys helping those who need it, whether it be increasing self confidence with a new smile or having someone be able to enjoy a juicy steak again with proper function, the reward is the satisfaction he gets from helping patients. At our practice, youll see Dr.Bounds living out his core values of family and trust every day. Dr.Bounds completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at Virginia Tech. After that, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry. In addition, his accolades include OKU National Dental Honor society member, Christian Dental Society mission trips to Jamaica, and Psi Omega President. He has also completed his GPR residency at VA North Texas Healthcare System where he focused on implant placement and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, surgical extractions and grafting, periodontal surgeries, prosthodontics, and endodontics on a medically compromised patient population. Dr. Bounds has received his Level 1 Sedation Certification as well. Born in Centreville, Virginia, Dr. Bounds grew up with his older sister who now lives in Richmond, VA and is a nurse practitioner. His parents now reside in Southwest Virginia with their four dogs and one cat. Dr.Bounds has since moved to the Knox Henderson area of Dallas where he loves to watch college football (Go Hokies!), cook, rock climb, fly fish, hike, and play beach volleyball.

Dr Mike is honest and down to earth, cares about your teeth and health, originally my mothers dentist and became mine years ago... Its your responsibility to keep your teeth healthy. So don't get mad if you're not upholding your end of the deal, they just do the hard work.

If you're looking for the #1 dentistry practice in DFW, in my opinion, this is it. Top of the line equipment and technology, and the most knowledgeable and caring Staff/Doctors I have ever met. Let me tell you, I've been to several dozen different practices throughout my life, and these guys take the cake. I don't do reviews very often, but they deserve the praise. Dr. Musso is extremely intelligent. I love picking his brain about sleep and airway issues, and how to treat the root cause. He's done the research and IT SHOWS. His treatment has hands down changed my life, I'm very grateful for him and his team.

I cannot say enough about the dentist and staff here at Musso! We have been going for a couple of years and every visit is met with professionalism mixed with that down home feeling. They are professional 100 % but they make you feel like part of a family. Their office is so clean and state of the art. Their dentists are the best around and I highly recommend taking yourself and your family. You will get the best care and leave happier than you arrived. The staff at Musso Dental is exceptional, Mandy who checked me in was great, my hygienist Erin is gentle, professional, and great with educating me on new hygiene products, and Dr. Bounds is very knowledgeable and helpful when I have any issues. I would recommend Musso to family and friends. They are a great dental office.
