Kathy graduated from the dental assisting program at Central Piedmont Community College in 1974 and has been with the practice since 1987. Her passion is patient care, and she serves a number of roles in the practice.
Miranda completed her dental assisting training in 2006 and joined our practice in 2020. She assists Dr. Shah-Khan in a wide array of procedures. She loves the artistic and hands-on side of dentistry, as well as being able to meet new people.
Patricia received her Bachelors degree in Pre-Dentistry from Southern Wesleyan University in 2007, followed by her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College in 2010. She joined our team in 2020 and is excited to use her years of experience to help patients achieve their optimal dental health.
Karen received her Dental Hygiene degree from Central Piedmont Community College after earning a Bachelors degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, North Carolina Dental Hygiene Association, and is an active volunteer with NC Missions of Mercy clinics. Karen enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients while providing exceptional care for their oral health.

A visit to Dr. A visit to Dr. Shah-Khan's office is like meeting up with caring friends. He and his associates greet you warmly and make sure you feel comfortable undergoing your dental procedure. My recent visit went smoothly and professionally. They ushered me into the treatment room exactly on my scheduled time and got me out of there feeling grateful in a matter of minutes. This was an excellent opportunity for me on many years of neglect to my Dental needs. I called on Friday and was able to get a Monday morning appointment. I learned what was causing the pain and how we were going to treat it. I then set appointments for upcoming work.

Dr. Shah-Kahn is by far the best dentist I have been to in Charlotte. You can really tell he cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain any concerns and never makes you feel guilty or anxious for dental health problems and needing to ask questions. Also his dental staff is top notch and they do an amazing job with xrays, cleanings and basic treatments. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. I had been with the prior dentist since I was a little girl and was a bit reluctant when I heard Dr . Shan-Khan was coming in but he is so personal and makes you feel very comfortable.
