After graduating from dental school, Dr. Walker furthered his education by completing a General Practice Residency at the OHSU Hospital, where he had extensive training with advanced dental procedures.
Dr. Walker has practiced at Murray Scholls Family Dental since he opened the practice in December 2000. He has worked at the OHSU Hospital Dental Service, a group practice in Beaverton, and a private practice in Keizer, Oregon.
As a premiere dentist in Beaverton, Oregon, Dr. Walker is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Sunset Study Club, and Northwest Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Study Club.He loves the challenge and creativity that being a general dentist provides and frequently attends continuing education classes to keep current with an ever-changing and improving field. Dr. Walker has trained at the world-renowned Kois Center in Seattle, where he has learned the latest advances in esthetics, implant, and restorative dentistry.

They are truly a team and work together to make our patients comfortable. Most of the staff have worked in the Beaverton dental office forfiveyears or more, so they really get to know the patients.
Carey has been in the dental field since 2007 and ishere to greet and help patients as they come through the door. She especially loves the interaction with all different types of patients and helping them improve their appearance and confidence throughdentistry. She lives in the Tigard area with her husband, Mitch. In her free time Carey likes to hike,swim, garden, travel and spend time with family.
Rose has been in the dental field for 12 years, starting as a dental assistant, treatment care coordinator position, and eventually into patient care coordinator. Rose is passionate about helping patients with treatment questions, insurance, and billing. She loves working in the dental field because it gives her the opportunity to bridge the gap between dental care and a persons overall health. Rose spends her quality time with her family. She is often involved in her sons school. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and baking. Sometimes she helps her husband with house projects.
Kay is the lead assistant at Murray Scholls Family Dental as well as Dr. Walkers main assistant. She has been an essential part of the office since 2002. Kay is a truly talented assistant and her skills are top-notch. Her sweet and caring personality makes patients feel comfortable and at ease. She likes how the staff works well together to give outstanding care to the patients. Kay loves spending time with her daughter and exploring the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and taking her Bull Mastiff, Buddy, on long walks. Kay is also preparing to walk a half marathon and taking part in the Hood To Coast relay this year.
Cassy is an integral member of the team and is one of our exceptional assistants. She likes the challenge of general dentistry and the variety of patients and procedures. She absolutely loves working at Murray Scholls Family Dental and instantly noticed the tight-knit relationship between the patients and staff. She looks forward to working at the office for many years. Cassy enjoys camping, the outdoors, and spending time with family, especially her grandparents.
Jami is one of the outstanding hygienists at the office. She is a genuinely caring and gentle professional and loves helping patients with their hygiene concerns. Dental hygiene is her passion and she finds great satisfaction when her patients oral hygiene improves with her education and assistance. She has worked at several offices and finds that Murray Scholls Family Dental has superior customer service and patient care. Jami lives in Newberg with her husband and three children and enjoys snowboarding and reading.
Leah is very knowledgeable and loves educating patients on ways to achieve optimal oral and overall health. She continually stresses the importance of good home care with patients of all ages. Leah still loves what she does after 17 years in the field, and is always excited to come to work each day. Leah and her husband Garrick have two grown daughters as well as a school-age son and daughter. They love staying active with their young children and enjoy keeping up with all their activities. Leah enjoys baking, knitting, reading, exercising, and watching the Portland Trailblazers and Oregon Ducks.
A passion for educating and helping people made dental hygiene a natural career path for Mary. She earned a B.A. degree at Western Oregon University, then went on to get her hygiene degree at Pacific University. Mary loves the remarkable staff members, getting to know the wonderful patients, and providing quality oral health education at Murray Scholls Family Dental. Born and raised in Hillsboro, Mary now calls Beaverton her home. She appreciates everything this area has to offer. Mary loves outdoor activities, personal fitness, and fresh local markets. When not treating patients, she looks forward to spending time and enjoying activities with her husband and three children.
Mary has been with the practice since it opened in 2001. She is responsible for all bookkeeping and marketing activities. Mary loves everything about Murray Scholls Family Dental including the beautiful office, tight-knit staff, and amazing patients. Mary lives in Beaverton with her husband and they have 3 grown children. In her spare time, now that she is an empty nester, Mary loves to travel, tap dance, participate in group fitness classes, and enjoy all the city and outdoor activities in the area.

Dr. Scott Walker has been our family dentist for 20 years and our experience has been excellent throughout. The best dentist hands down! And I've been to quite a few in Portland and Beaverton, come see Dr Walker if you need personalized care, he's so kind patient and knowledgeable. Everyone in his office is amazing, from the front desk Rose and Brooke to each every hygienists, when you go for your cleaning you'll feel so relaxed and at ease. I used to dread going to my Beaverton dentist Dr Dotson, each time I felt rushed, they were more interested in making money than providing good service. Dr Walker is not like that, he's simply the best.

I have been seen three times. A consultation, a cleaning and a root canal.I can officially say, I love Murray Scholls Family Dental! Everyone is knowledgeable, kind and joyful. Dr. Walker and his entire staff are a breath of fresh air. I had a root canal today, and I can say it was wonderful! Not too often that happens! My only concern with recommending them is I worry they will get too busy for my dental needs!But, I highly recommend Murray Scholls Family Dental!!!

My first visit was great! Not once did I feel bad about how my teeth were. I now have a comprehensive plan to get stuff done in my mouth. The staff is great. Brook found all the insurance stuff that I didn't know and the young woman who did my X-rays was wonderful. She got the job done right the first time, and the doctor was really nice and explained everything really well. I truly believe I picked the perfect dental office for me!!

I've been a patient since 2006 when they were able to get me in the same day for an emergency. I was a new patient and was amazed how welcoming they were. Even when I moved an hour away eight years ago I still make the drive clear out there. I see Jamie for my routine cleanings every 3 months and she is the best!! I cannot say enough good things about Dr Walker and his staff. In my 16 years I have had only GREAT service. Hands down the best place!!

Great service! Had 3 fillings done, this was my first experience with another dentist and Dr. Walker and Lori did an amazing job. Process took roughly 30 minutes and was painless (even the initial numbing shot). Only downfall is that their schedule is packed so finding an appointment within a couple weeks is nearly impossible. I had to schedule my appointment a month and a half out. Regardless, Dr. Walker spent time going over a dental plan and explaining the process. I am very appreciative and look forward to continue my treatment plan at Murray Scholls Family Dental.
