Dr. Murray graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska after receiving her bachelors degree from UC Davis. She is committed to furthering her dental education and received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in New York in 2001. She attained this award by completing 500 hours of continuing education and passing an arduous written examination. In addition, Dr. Murray is a spokesperson for the AGD and has many quotes in media outlets such as KFRC radio station, Redbook magazine, Parenting, Readers Digest and US News. Most recently she was interviewed at Bay Area Dental Success about advances in her practice using her exciting new laser that can do fillings with no anesthesia!
Dr. Murray has been actively involved in many committees with AGD including the Internet Council, Long Range Planning Council, as well as the Communications Council. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Murray recently finished a six year term on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara Dental Society.
Dr. Murray spent many of her early years working in a pediatric dental office and loves to see kids. She has worked in this office for over 25 years. She took over ownership of the practice in 2002, right around the time her second daughter was born (it was a busy year!). In their spare time, she and her husband enjoy assisting with their younger daughters activities in high school and hearing about her older daughters engineering projects at college.
Ive been with Murray Dental Care since December 2017. I was born in Santa Rosa and raised in Los Altos. I have 5 plus years of front office experience both in country clubs and a therapeutic treatment environment. I graduated from William Jessup University with a certificate in Addiction Counseling.
In my free time, I love making art and being creative. Some of my passions and talents are quilting, glass blowing, painting, wood burning, making jewelry, sewing, knitting, crocheting, drawing, stained glass, tie dye, and coloring. I also love to volunteer at Hopes Corner in Mountain View, a non-profit started by my parents where we provide showers and serve food to the hungry. My parents are a great source of inspiration to me as they are constantly doing wonderful things and giving their time and their hearts to the church, girl scouts, and the local and global community. They are constantly looking for ways to help those less fortunate get their basic needs met. Some of the programs they have participated in include Little Dresses For Africa, Sole Hope, Living Water, Amor Ministries and UMCOR and UMVIM out whether it be natural disaster relief or building houses, schools, and providing clean drinking water. I love spending time with family and friends. Most of all, I love working with and helping people and it brings me joy being part of such a wonderful team of women, who truly care about providing excellent patient care and making your visits a positive and enjoyable experience.
Ive been with Murray Dental Care for eleven years now. I was born and raised in Sunnyvale, and I attended Homestead High School before graduating from Foothill College in 2006 with an associate degree in biological sciences.
I love the awesome teamwork we have at our dental office. I love the work I do every day, striving to be in tune with patients concerns and needs, getting to know our patients, and providing great customer service.
Ever since I was young, I have always loved science especially biology, I wanted to follow in my mothers footsteps of being a dental hygienist. Building relationships with our patients and educating them on how to best care for their health is an extremely rewarding aspect of this job.
Im very family oriented, and am lucky to have grown up in a family of six who still reside in the Bay Area. I currently live with my husband and our two cats in Santa Clara. While Im not at the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, camping, and hanging out with my cats.
I joined Murray Dental Care in 2002 starting as a sterilization technician before moving to the front office where I work as a business assistant. I graduated from San Jose State University in 2008 with a bachelors degree in anthropology.
My favorite part of working at the office is interacting with the wonderful team we have here. I enjoy being diligent in my work to ensure that the business side of our practice runs smoothly so that the focus can remain on providing our patients with the best possible care.
My father is a retired dentist and my mother is a registered dental assistant, so working in a dental office is in my blood. When Im not working, I enjoy exercising my brain by solving all sorts of puzzles. Whether it is LEGOS, models, or furniture, I enjoy putting things together. I also love spending time with my family, whether at home or out exploring.

Been a patient of Dr Murray's for many years, I can't praise her enough for having a truly rare combination of expertise in her field, knowledge/use of latest equipment (no shot fillings!!), patience when answering questions, and a very friendly disposition (great sense of humor). I highly recommend Dr Murray, she has turned a lifelong dread of mine (sitting in the dental chair) into a very comfortable experience!

This was my first appointment, and after meeting with Dr. Murray, I totally understand why my parents have been going here for years!! I feel so welcomed into the community, and since this is my first adult dental care appointment, I felt that the transition was as smooth as I could've asked for. My family and I have been seeing Dr Murray for about fifteen yesrs, and we still come even though we moved a distance away. Dr Murray and all the staff are unfailingly nice, funny, informative, organized (even when I am not!), and technically advanced. Dr. Murray has new technologies for dental work on site before I've ever heard of the new options, and she uses them judiciously and with skill. She listens well, incorporate feedback, and know that scolding is not effective--they don't do it! The office never tries to up-sell me, and works with us to budget as needed. Finally, they maintain an amazingly relaxed and cheerful atmosphere; great with reducing any anxieties, and keeping it interesting and calm for children. My daughter--now 13-has always looked forward to her dental visits; she thinks they're enjoyable!

Murray Dental Care mistreated my teeth and caused me chewing pain lasting for a year (and not recovered yet, maybe won't recover for ever). They may look friendly, but definitely not professional or careful with teeth. Don't choose them unless you want permanent trouble.

My DH has been going to her for decades, but I'd stayed with my DDS till he retired. I wish I'd come over earlier! Dr. Murray is caring, respectful, knowledgeable, skillful and thorough. I began with her when my crown cracked in 2020; in fact I was her first post COVID-19 lock-down patient. You can imagine how stressful it was for anyone getting (and providing) dental care! I was so impressed with the air filtering / UV disinfecting upgrades she'd already implemented, and how thoroughly she thought through all other procedures to keep everyone safe. Since then I've been thrilled with Dr. Murray and her team, and soon brought over my son too. I'm happy with and her staff's careful dental cleaning, skilled dx and restorations. Dr. Murray has solved all our complexities, both dental or insurance, and gone the extra mile. Plus she's been so positive and anxiety-reducing with me and my son. And that matters! At my visit yesterday I realized that because of her I've managed to change my flossing and dental hygiene *habits* -- and learned I have by far the best gum health in decades. It's gotta be because of Dr. Murray herself -- her skills as educator, cheer-leader, and skillful, problem-solving coach!

Dr. Murray is the best! Always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed, which is important, especially when you are getting a proceedure done. She is very thorough and explains step by step what she is doing. I recently chipped a back molar and she not only replaced my filling but perfectly fixed my tooth within an hour. She did this with a laser instrument, which was a plus, because I didn't have to get a novocaine shot. I had zero pain during the procedure. It was awesome! If you are looking for a dentist who is talented and truly cares about their patients, Dr. Murray is the one to go to.

Dr Murray is the best. I went into my appointment apprehensive and not knowing what to expect (I had a crown that was loose). She explained very clearly what the problem was and how she was going to fix it.
