Dr. German L Murias has been servicing the Hialeah/Miami Lakes community since 1985. Prior to becoming a dentist, he was in the profession as a dental ceramist where he worked in a lab making crowns, bridges and dentures among other things.
When he graduated from la universidad central del este in San Pedro de Macors, Dominican Republic in 1985, he made a commitment to never stop learning and to always seek out any knowledge that would improve his craft.
In 1992, he completed a grueling graduate level curriculum in Harvard University where he was able to learn from some of the top minds and pioneers in implant dentistry. By 2003 he became a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry later becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, the highest accreditation possible in implant dentistry.
In addition to being an extremely accomplished dentist, he is also an inventor and has several patents on innovative surgical instruments that are used around the world. He is a loving husband to his wife of 38 years, a devoted father and a doting grandfather.
As a second generation dentist, Dr. Eric Murias has been surrounded by the profession his entire life. Dr. Murias Graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2015, nearly 30 years to the date that his father received his degree.
Like his father before him, Dr. Murias immediately sought out knowledge from the top minds in dentistry. In 2016, he completed a graduate level curriculum in implant dentistry from Loma Linda University in California. He also began his educational journey learning from Dr. David Galler, the leading expert in clear aligner therapy.
He currently sits on the board of directors of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and is also president of one of its 36 chapters. He has received multiple awards in education and mentorship from align technology for his contributions to the education of doctors in clear aligner therapy.
For ultimate camouflage, tray or aligner systems offer a modern straightening method. A series of clear plastic trays are made using 3D digital models of your teeth. Medical-grade plastic without wires, metal, springs, or rubber bands gently move your teeth into place. Continuous pressure on specific teeth with each aligner means less discomfort and, in many cases, shortened treatment times. Your provider dispenses several sets of aligners at a time, allowing you to change to a new tray at home every two weeks.
Removable trays can be set aside for short periods allowing for normal eating and cleaning. Enjoying an apple without the intrusion of brackets and wires works well for many patients. Dr German Murias and his team are amazing. Dr Murias bed side manners and sense of humor makes everyone feel comfortable. His knowledge is above and beyond on any and all dental issues you could possibly have. He can address it all. He likes to do a good job. I would say he is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. My mother and I are both patients. He is very patient as well.

I am terrified of going to the dentist but Dr. Murias has made all the difference in the world. If I had to go to the dentist I had to take someone with me. If I couldn't bring someone in the back with me I wouldn't go to that doctor. My husband was talking to him one day about my fear. He said bring her to me. It was one of the best gifts my husband could have given me. I can go alone. He understands your fear and gives you the best solutions for managing your teeth. Dr. Murias and his staff are extremely caring and compassionate about the Dental Services they provide. I have been seeing Dr. Murias for more than a year, from back when I was living in Palm Beach County. This visit was prompted by an old crown which broke. I currently live in Atlanta, GA and drove down to Dr. Murias' office in Hialeah, FL because I knew he would quickly resolve my issue. I have been living in Atlanta, GA for almost a year and I have yet to find another Dentist with the skills, capability and compassion that Dr. Murias has. This is why I will keep coming back, unless, of course, I can somehow get him to move to Atlanta, GA. What do you say, Dr. G?
