Dr. Murdock grew up in southeast Idaho, and is the middle child of 4 other siblings. The proud son of a blue-collar mechanic, Dr. Murdock was the first in his immediate family to attend college. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a desire to excel at whatever task he chose to accept. He and his lovely wife are the very proud parents of four awesome kids! They moved to Billings in 2008, taking over management of a well-respected practice in the Heights.
Dr. Murdock enjoys spending time with his family. He and his family can be found having fun at kids sports events with Shepherd schools, riding dirt bikes, camping, visiting Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins in Idaho; and exploring the outdoors. He and his family feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country. They are proud Americans and enjoy being a part of the Billings and Shepherd communities, as this has truly become Home for the Murdocks.
Dr. Murdock attended Idaho State University, earning his Bachelors of Science in Zoology degree in 2004 in southeast Idaho. Then, he and his young family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended Case School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008. They moved to Billings directly after Dr. Murdock graduated. Dr. Murdock thoroughly enjoys private practice, and enjoys coming to his office every morning, as he always looks forward to meeting, treating, and serving his patients daily.
Dr. Murdock also strives to achieve Clinical Excellence through Education by demonstrating dedication and passion in pursuit of the very highest quality dentistry, and in his quest to maintain continued levels of uncompromised excellence.
Tiffany is a Billings native, graduating from Skyview High School in 2003. She attended Colorado Northwestern Community College for Small Business Management and has been with our team since October 2011. Tiffany contributes to our practice in many ways. As a patient advocate and hospitality professional, it is her goal to help our patients feel comfortable at every visit and help them understand their treatment options. She also works hard to keep our team positive so that we can reach our goals as a practice, and continue providing our patients with excellent care. She absolutely loves dentistry and the opportunities she has as a practice manager. Tiffany hopes to continue to enhance her knowledge and build meaningful relationships with her patients, as well as within the local dental community.
Tiffany is very dedicated to her career in dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), and is the Chapter President of the Yellowstone Valley, Montana, AADOM Chapter. Tiffany has a firm belief in continuing education and has worked hard in advancing her career in dentistry. In 2019, she achieved her Fellowship (FAADOM) with AADOM. In September 2021 she earned her Mastership (MAADOM) and she is on track to earn her Diplomat designation; which is the highest level of distinction with AADOM. Tiffany was also awarded the Practice Administrator of Distinction Award in September 2020.
Tiffany is married with 2 small children that keep her very busy at home. Outside of the office, Tiffany and her family enjoy cooking fun foods from their home garden, camping, event planning and are avid Montana State Bobcat Football fans.
Sharleen joined our team in February 2018 and has been a wonderful addition. A Billings native, she graduated from Senior High and attended Montana State University. Sharleen has been in the dental field since 2000 and enjoys getting to know our patients. Sharleen enjoys working with a great team that puts the patients needs first. She does an outstanding job helping our patients understand their dental benefits and feel comfortable in our office.
At Murdock Family Dentistry, we are serious about our patients safety and health, and we are dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy environment at all times. With that said, its no surprise that our safety protocols and procedures go above and beyond the CDC and OSHA recommendations.

Great staff and dentist! I've always dealt with severe dental anxiety and they made me feel very comfortable. Took time to explain everything and my options.

Highly recommended this office! I have had alot of dental anxiety and they have 100% done everything to ease that anxiety! I should've reviewed them sooner because I think they are amazing and they are all very friendly and do a wonderful job, but wanted to review them now because I saw a very hurtful personal attack on their business and one of their hygienists personally today and I took it very offensively! Now I'm not one to be easily offended, as I am no "Karen", however, this attack rubbed me the wrong way. First of all..... Not only is this hygienists voice not an issue, it is quite comforting to me and she is super friendly, amazing at her job, and has excellent bedside manner.... Something I know alot about since I am a nurse and since she is the most professional and friendly hygienist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Second.... Dr. Murdock has given me my dream smile after years of anxiety, pain, dental issues and dealing with actual awful dentists and offices.... I highly recommend EVERYONE to Dr. Murdock and his amazing, kind, compassionate, and professional staff! They will take great care of you and ease any anxiety you may have. I appreciate them all so much! And last but not least..... Willy Wonka would be proud of the blueberry homage.... Lol..... Just kidding..... But I worked in a hospital in northern Indiana and those were the exact scrub colors we were required to wear.....while not my favorite color choice, they are all beautiful in them and it in NO WAY hinders their ability to do their job and do it all! And whoever you are "Karen", who wrote the nasty review, who gave you the right to personaly attack someone on something so petty as color of scrubs and sound of their voice.... Something they have no control over?!? Sorry, I was raised with better manners than that. Get a life ma'am..... I'm sure there are plenty of things someone could complain about you for, but most people would never because that is just plain rude! Have a nice day! And thank you so much Murdock and staff!!

Look no further for a dentist. I have been going here for about ten years now and I will not go to anyone else unless they recommend it. I have had the dentist here refer me to another dentist. I really like that they use the same hygienist every time you go. That really cuts down the stress. Thanks!

I am a veteran who was homeless for years, cage fighting to get by (had teeth knocked out & no dental insurance) . This dentist was extremely rude and belittled me by talking down to me about the quality and care I've put into my teeth and saying "it's my fault my teeth are the way they are". And disrespectfully told me that i should "go somewhere else to get the care i need". I know my teeth are like this because of me and wasn't blaming anyone at this facility for the current state of my teeth. I did not appreciate being disrespected by this dentist.

We just moved to the Billings area and needed a new dentist. We hit the jackpot with Dr. Murdock and his staff. What a great group of people. Everyone in the office is kind and willing to explain any questions, help with insurance issues, or just offer a smile. I highly recommend Dr. Murdock and his staff.

I haven't sent in a review before as I just can't seem to find the right words to express how wonderful I feel (and my teeth look) after Dr. Murdock gave me a smile restoration. I've been going to Murdock Family Dentistry for a little over a year now after breaking another tooth. My husband and son have went there for years and kept telling me that they're the best. I believe them now!! Dr. Murdock has been a miracle worker with my teeth! Not only do I have a bright new beautiful smile, my teeth actually fit together! I've had several dentists do major work over the years and this the first time I actually can bite together completely! Dr. Murdock is a perfectionist, my crowns are so beautifully natural looking and never once did I feel any pain during all the work he performed. His assistants and office staff are awesome too! I feel like I'm part of a new family now. I can never say enough how great everyone at Murdock's has treated me! Thank you!! I love my teeth & smile! :)

The entire staff acted like I was the only one in there...there was no rush or push to 'crank us through'. There was ample explanation of what was happening, what needed to happen, time for questions and dealing with options...it was just a very good experience!

When they walked me back to where all of the patient chairs were set up, I noticed each had a TV for the patient to watch to distract them, which is ok...a bit odd. What caught my eye was each was pre-set to Fox News. That gave me a very "political" feeling. The exam went fine, but I won't go back to where I feel uncomfortable.
