Now in its 97th year, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is a leading orthodontic resource. The patient, Mary Bis, was treated by Dr. Charles W. Munk, DDS, MS and Dr. Charles F. Munk, DDS.
Dr. Charles W. Munk has been creating beautiful smiles since 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. He attended dental school at the University of Michigan. Dr. Munk completed his residency and received his MS degree in orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy.
Dr. Munk is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the OKU Dental Honor Society, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and the Pinnacle Study Club. Dr. Munk is Michigan State Board Certified in the Specialty of Orthodontics.
Dr. Munk was recognized by Hour Magazine as one of the top orthodontists in Metro Detroit. He lectures around the state on a multitude of topics in orthodontics. In addition, Dr. Munk has been voted Best Orthodontist ten years in a row by the public.

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. As a staff, we also participate in many charitable activities in our communities.
We are one of the few offices who employ primarily certified dental assistants and registered dental assistants in orthodontics. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

I could not get braces until I was 23. I went into Munk last year to get information about Invisalign and was weary about being an adult going through this. Now, I realize that I could not have made a better decision. The entire process was so easy that I honestly cannot believe there is not a catch. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful, especially Leah. They made each appointment easy, professional and truly enjoyable. I will recommend them to anyone, young or old, to go with. They are clearly professionals at what they do and they go the extra mile throughout every aspect of the process to make it as easy as possible. Thank you Dr. Munk and your staff! You guys wholeheartedly deserve all five stars of this review.

Munk Ortho is in tune with the latest technologies. The office visits are always exceptional and my assistant, Michala was fantastic! She explained everything that was going on and answered all my questions, making me feel great about my next visit. Can't wait!

I Highly recommend Dr. Munk and Associates for all of your Orthodonic needs. Myself, My son and my daughter have all had treatment with them. Dr. Munk is Very laid back and explains everything in advance. He is Wonderful with Children as well. It's a family friendly atmosphere that is so inviting. My kids Love going to their appointments. It truly is a wonderful place with the friendliest staff. Which is hard to find. Thank you Dr. Munk and staff for Everything!
