When it comes to offering patients the highest quality dentistry, Dr. Munger has always been committed to his education. He attended the Arthur Dugoni University of Pacific School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He completes 50 units of continuing education every year and attends lectures and conferences throughout the year on the latest technology and techniques.
Dr. Munger is here to give patients the smiles they have always dreamed of. Specializing in cosmetic dentistry allows him to shape the health and bite of a smile and give patients the confidence to show off their pearly whites. Dr. Munger enjoys discussing the various treatment options that patients have as well as educating them on proper oral care.
The staff is committed to patient care and has been a part of the office for many years. Everyone is tight-knit, and the office staff feels more like family than co-workers. They treat patients with the same attention to detail with which they would want to be treated.
Along with his wonderful wife, Stacy, Dr. Munger has a daughter, Sydney, and a son named Trevor. They are all kept active by their golden retriever, Holly. In his free time, Dr. Munger enjoys hunting, fishing, and collecting baseball cards. Recently, he planted his own vineyard and looks forward to becoming a winemaker.
A commitment to bettering the community extends beyond the office. Dr. Munger is Secretary of the Butte Sierra Dental Society and has been a member of the Sutter Buttes Cross Committee for 20 years. He is also a staunch supporter of area wildlife conservation groups.

I have over 20 years of experience in the dental field and have enjoyed working here since 2004. Dr. Munger is a great person to work for and a good friend. He is very understanding and listens to our suggestions to make the practice more successful. This office has been the best office to work for.

I started my internship in December of 2006 and have had a great experience with the staff and Dr. Munger. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Fortunately for me, I was offered a position and have been here ever since. I love my job, the people I work with, and most of all, our patients.
I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1982, and I became licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions in 1995. I have worked in this office from 1988 to this day. I started working with Dr. Munger in 2003 after he purchased the practice. Dr. Munger is gentle, kind, and caring with his patients and his staff. We are an energetic team, and we work hard to make your dental experience timely, comfortable, and informative.
I have had the pleasure of working in this office since 1986. Being a part of this practice is enjoyable because we truly are like a family. Our patients always end up feeling like they are a part of our family, too.

Dr. Munger served both my parents when they were living. In 2011, my wife, son and I came back to YC and have been with him starting Day 1. I'm in a position now where I can pick and choose anyone, any plan, any location, any anything for my family and I, and we choose to stick with Danny. That says it all IMO.

Dr. Munger will never be recommended to any of my friends or family. He was never my general dentist, but we encountered him when my son suffered trauma to his teeth and he was the on call dentist for our sons pediatric dentist. This doctor showed up to his practice in jean shorts and sandals. When he took X-rays his office didn't even have digital, he was very flustered and even shook as he gave my son a numbing injection. I was never asked if my son had allergies, I understand it was an emergency situation but a health history is still extremely important. At the end of our emergency appointment he asked for our insurance card, and to our assumption this doctor took our insurance just like our pediatric dentist did (one would think that an on call dentist should take similar insurance as your current dentist). About 3 weeks after my sons visit we received a $440 dollar bill. When I called his office and spoke to his office manager she stated that I needed to pay because Dr. Munger did not accept our insurance. She was extremely rude, kept cutting me off and refused to bill my insurance. I gathered information from my insurance and called the office manager at Dr. Munger's office and explained to her what my insurance stated. I also mentioned to her how displeased I was and then she was willing to help me with billing. Another 3 weeks pass and I receive another bill from this doctor. I once again called and spoke to the office manager and her response was "well you can do whatever you want with that bill, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you". I asked to speak to her manage which was Dr. Munger, I left my contact information and he called me back a day later. I spoke about how rude his staff was and he rudely replied with well I heard that you were rude! Im sorry but as a consumer I want good costumer service specially with healthcare, and so far none of this was being met! He later asked me if I was content with the treatment he provided and i said no. I explained why and he laughed at me (he stated it was an emergency situation and this is why he was shaking and was flustered). At this point I understood why his employees are rude and unprofessional, because their boss encourages it and is the same way. I am mind blown by this practice and their unprofessionalism. He has broken so many ethical principles as a dentist. As consumers please do your research on dentist, I have learned from my experience from these small town dentist and I will never visit another in this area.
