Retina & Vitreous Consultants of Wisconsin is dedicated to providing skilled and quality care to all of our patients in a professional and compassionate manner. All of our physicians are fellowship-trained in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous and focus solely on treating these conditions. We promise to treat our patients with expertise, empathy, and individual support.
Following his residency training, he served as a major in the Medical Corps of the United States Air Force and was a Staff Ophthalmologist at Fort Dix in New Jersey. After working in private practice, Dr. Raja completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Raja is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Medical Examiners and is certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Raja has published extensively on macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy and also lectures to physicians as well as to members of the community. He enjoys biking, reading historical nonfiction, and spending time with his wife and two children.
