Dr. Laurie Mulka is a 1993 graduate of theUniversity of Detroit Mercy Schoolof Dentistrywith a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After graduating from UDM she continued her education in an Advanced Dental Residency Program at theMedical Center Hospital of Vermont.She continues to take classes in the dental field to stay on the leading edge of all the advances in Dentistry that she can offer her patients. Before moving her practice to Livonia, in 1997Dr. Mulka started her private practice in Redford working there for more than 20 years. Dr. Mulkaenjoys every aspect of dentistry.
Dr. Mulka feels an office can only perform as well as the people who are in it. She has high standards for herself and the people she surrounds herself with, which makes her team one of which she has the highest confidence in. They are professional yet warm and friendly.
Heather is our full time hygienist at Mulka Dental. Heatherattended U of M for her prerequisitecourses and then graduated from WCCCD in 2009 with a degree in dental hygiene. In 2010Heather graduated from Siena Heights University with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She specializes in making patients feel comfortable. Outside of work Heatherenjoys yoga, swimming, running, traveling and being outdoors. She is an also a huge animal lover!
Shannon has been our full time Dental Assistantfor over 13years. She has been working in the dental field and assisting for 19years. Shannon runs our same day CAD/CAM crown machine which makes usable to design andmake your crowns in just one visit. Sheis alsoour marketing & advertising manager. When not working, Shannon enjoys being outside, golfing, traveling and camping with her husband &5 children.
Lauren has been dental assisting and a member of our staff since 2013. Lauren has a Bachelorof Science degree in General Science and a teaching certificate from Madonna University. She thrives on making patients comfortable and iseager to help out anywhere needed in the office. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading books, and listening to music. Her favorite thing is spending time with her 3children - whether its watching them play sports, cooking together, or going for a bike ride.
For over 20years, Christina has been coordinating all the daily essentials to make the office deliver exceptional dental care. She is very compassionate and a great listener.Christina is an animal lover!!! She enjoyscamping and boating with her family and two dogs.

My hygienist Heather is the best. Super sweet and calming. I was very impressed with the whole clinic. Dr Mulka was very thorough and very nice.

Everyone here is amazing! First dentist office I'm 100% comfortable with. They truly take care of you here. My hygienist Danielle is the absolute best. I look forward to my cleanings! Dr. Mulka is gentle and very sweet as well as the rest of her staff. Absolutely love Mulka Dental. I will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Mulka has been special since I first met her 20+ years ago. She IS a combination of skill & compassion and these are evident in her staff as well. Dr. Mulka inspires confidence every single time I see her. If this is believable, I actually enjoy my visits. From the front desk through whatever procedure I'm having, I feel special and cared for. The office was very friendly! I was just surprised when I was trying to find a new dentist that I got hit with such a high bill. They took my insurance info and said yes they accept it. I was surprised to get hit with a really big bill. Apparently, I was told, that I need to be the one to check. ??I never knew that prior to my appt. or I wouldn't have gone. Normally, my cleanings are covered. yes! they tyes, and I thought no more about it.I then got a bill for almost 300

I love this office so much. If you're neurodiverse, quirky, autistic, or otherwise need someone who's just as good at commuicating as they are at dental work (which is fantastic) This office is just the best.

Dr. Mulka and her staff are terrific. I have already referred family & friends to this office because they are kind caring & have a very clean modern facility. Best of all No Pain. Been a patient of Dr Mulka for many years. I love the new location, it's much larger and very nicely decorated! Very warm and welcoming feeling. Athough the hygienist I've seen for years is no longer there, Heather is great, and I really like her! I've seen her twice already since being at the new location. She answers all questions very thoroughly, and was willing to take the extra time to make certain I understood everything before I left. Dr Mulka and her team are very friendly, knowledgeable, & professional.

Dr Mulka has been my dentist for close to 20 years always excellent care I highly recommend Dr Mulka and her staff she will become your dentist for life I had a dental emergency and a holiday weekend I called her at 11 at night she opened her office to examine me realized I needed a surgeon called a friend he opened his office Saturday morning and did surgery on me all in the middle of July 4 weekend amazing and I had never known her till I started as her patient
