Dr. Laurie Mulka is a 1993 graduate of theUniversity of Detroit Mercy Schoolof Dentistrywith a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After graduating from UDM she continued her education in an Advanced Dental Residency Program at theMedical Center Hospital of Vermont.She continues to take classes in the dental field to stay on the leading edge of all the advances in Dentistry that she can offer her patients. Before moving her practice to Livonia, in 1997Dr. Mulka started her private practice in Redford working there for more than 20 years. Dr. Mulkaenjoys every aspect of dentistry.
Dr. Mulka feels an office can only perform as well as the people who are in it. She has high standards for herself and the people she surrounds herself with, which makes her team one of which she has the highest confidence in. They are professional yet warm and friendly.
Heather is our full time hygienist at Mulka Dental. Heatherattended U of M for her prerequisitecourses and then graduated from WCCCD in 2009 with a degree in dental hygiene. In 2010Heather graduated from Siena Heights University with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She specializes in making patients feel comfortable. Outside of work Heatherenjoys yoga, swimming, running, traveling and being outdoors. She is an also a huge animal lover!
Shannon has been our full time Dental Assistantfor over 13years. She has been working in the dental field and assisting for 19years. Shannon runs our same day CAD/CAM crown machine which makes usable to design andmake your crowns in just one visit. Sheis alsoour marketing & advertising manager. When not working, Shannon enjoys being outside, golfing, traveling and camping with her husband &5 children.
Lauren has been dental assisting and a member of our staff since 2013. Lauren has a Bachelorof Science degree in General Science and a teaching certificate from Madonna University. She thrives on making patients comfortable and iseager to help out anywhere needed in the office. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading books, and listening to music. Her favorite thing is spending time with her 3children - whether its watching them play sports, cooking together, or going for a bike ride.
For over 20years, Christina has been coordinating all the daily essentials to make the office deliver exceptional dental care. She is very compassionate and a great listener.Christina is an animal lover!!! She enjoyscamping and boating with her family and two dogs.
