Here at Grand Rapids Dental, we offer a variety of first-rate services including general and family dental services, crowns, bridges and implant restorations; and our cosmetic dentistry is backed by decades of experience. We also offer orthodontic services.
The keynote of our practice is personable, competent service provided by highly trained and experienced professionals. Dr. Mulder has thus far achieved twice the required credits for continuing education.
We will always take the time to really listen to you and explain procedures thoroughly. Dr. Mulder believes in only treating what needs to be treated. We will plan your dental treatment in stages, if needed, in order to work around your lifestyle and resources. We want you to get the dental care you need to get and stay healthy.
We constantly keep our eyes on our main goal getting you and your whole family into a stable state of good oral health. We provide excellent quality treatment and education that will help you and your loved ones get to that healthy condition and stay there for life.
Your comfort is important to us, and we provide various amenities as well as friendly service, and reassurance when you need it. Comfort amenities include pillows and blankets, satellite TV, headphones and refreshing drinks. We also respect your time and try to be as efficient as possible.
During your visit, we know how to keep your dental work pain-free, giving unnoticeable injections and using modern anesthesia methods to keep you comfortable during your entire treatment. We use the Peripress injection device, which provides absolute safety and only numbs the area needed for the procedure.
Our general approach is conservative when it comes to dental situations. At times it is necessary to consider teeth replacement options, but we feel its very important to preserve your natural tooth structure whenever possible. For this reason we only recommend treatment that is necessary to give you a healthy, beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime.
We use tried-and-true techniques and an excellent lab to create such restorations as porcelain crowns, veneers, and bridges. We also offer teeth whitening, gum recontouring, dental bonding, orthodontics and even dental implant restoration to help you achieve your smile goals.
We are proud of our doctors here at Grand Rapids Dental. They work to bring their patients high-quality dental care in a friendly environment. They are each known for their personable, caring attitude and for providing excellent dental work.

As a family dental practice, we offer high-quality dental services and treatments to keep you and your familys smiles healthy and beautiful. We treat patients of all ages and recommend adult patients bring their children with them to get used to the dental office.
As a father of two, Dr. Mulder is great with children and loves caring for their teeth. All of our staff make an effort to help kids feel relaxed and at ease in our office. We have toys in the waiting room and TVs in every patient room to help make their visit more enjoyable.
Children should visit the dentist by their first birthday. It is important that your childs newly-erupted teeth (erupting at six to 12 months of age) receive proper dental care and benefit from proper oral hygiene habits right from the beginning.
During their first visit, Dr. Mulder will give a brief oral exam and check for any problems. After the oral exam, one of our experienced hygienists will quickly clean their teeth and give them good home care instructions on how to brush and floss their teeth.
Dr. Mulder is very gentle and takes his time to make sure that your child is at ease when doing exams or procedures. Our goal is to make your child feel welcomed and at home when they are here, this way they will not have anxiety about going to the dentists office, but actually look forward to coming back in the future. We use simple language to teach them all the basics of dental health and explain how to maintain good oral hygiene on their own.
