Dr. Stacey Sype graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2000. After graduating, Dr. Sype completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following her residency, she entered into private practice as an associate dentist for six years in Omaha, NE. In 2007, Dr. Sype moved back to the Pacific Northwest to enjoy its beauty and outdoor activity.
Dr. Sype values the importance of enhancing her current abilities and quality of care on a regular basis. She maintains a high level of knowledge through regular dedication to continuing education, dental conferences, industry journals, and discussions with colleagues. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Snohomish County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2018, Dr. Sype graduated from theKois Center, which trains top dentists from around the world in advanced restorative dentistry. She continues to attend workshops at theKois Centerto hone her skills and stay apprised of the latest developments in dental medicine. In 2021, she was honored to become a mentor to other dentists at the Kois Center. Recently, she also completed the first program in the Digital Smile Design residency, which is on the leading edge of providing advanced aesthetic and functional smile design.
When she isnt in the dental office, you will most likely find Dr. Sype enjoying the outdoors. She loves to hike, snow ski, snowshoe, and mountaineer. In fact, she has climbed 42 of Colorados beautiful 14,000ft peaks! Of course nothing is more important to her, than spending time with her family and friends.

Top notch professional team. The lady who took the X-rays was very knowledgeable and gentle. The woman who cleaned my teeth was a little rough and abrupt, but I appreciate her informing me how to better use my particular style toothbrush. As always, Dr. Sype was wonderful and thorough. And, of course, Rebecca at the front desk was very competent to review my records and schedule for each and every appointment. Little wonder that I've been going to Mukilteo Smiles for the last 15 years!

Before going here I was terrified of dentists. I can't say I enjoy going to the dentist now, but they have made it as pleasant as possible. I no longer dread my appointments. Everyone is kind and focused on the patients comfort and needs. I highly recommend going here.

Marietta always does a great job making me feel comfortable, checks in often because she knows about my TMJ pain, and coaches rather than guilts me if I need to be doing something different. For anyone with dental anxiety, she is the gal for you. :) I don't know what I'm ever going to do if she retires!

I had my teeth scanned for a night guard this morning and I must say every time, I go in there its a wonderful experience. Megan is the best she did my scan this morning I was in and out quickly, was given proper information and she was able to answer all of my questions. I won't go anywhere else for dental work to be done.

I had an infection in my mouth and he did nothing for me I had to go to the walk in clinic to get help.

They did a good job with telling me what the problem is with my teeth . But these dentist are really terrible at courtesy reminders and bumping appointments because when you believe you have a 1:00 appointment you shouldn't have to get a call at 12:37 telling me I'm late for an appointment I had at 12:30 when I wasn't told I had an appointment til 1 , and I should get automated message 48 hours before my appointment because a courtesy reminder call would be great .

We have loved Dr. Sype and her team at Mukilteo Smiles. Before we moved to Mukilteo we always used pediatric dentists for fillings. Dr. Sype felt she could take care of our girls cavities and she did an amazing job with our 8 year old. We love the hygentists and the office staff. Highly recommend.

I got the 30 minute tooth whitening and was very satisfied. My teeth look whiter and brighter with more even coloration. The hygienist was professional, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Sarah introduced herself and briefly checked my teeth beforehand. The receptionist was cheery and helpful. The wait was minimal. The waiting room was spacious and tasteful. There was even an alcove play area for kids.

I hadn't been to Dr. Sype's new office since I moved to Lynnwood last year and thought I had found a new dentist. Two weekends ago I had a tooth break and called my "new" dentist, not sure what to expect on a Saturday. No reply. I called Dr. Sype and she called me back to me on a weekend, was able to call in antibiotics, and scheduled me for an emergency appointment on Monday. She got it all fixed up. It was so nice to be taken care of in a tough situation.
