Dr. Knight and staff are the absolute best! I used to dread going to the dentist until a friend told me about Mt. Tabor Dental. The entire staff is kind, professional, and gentle so there is no need to be anxious about going to the dentist ever again. As long as I live in Oregon, I'll be going to Mt. Tabor. Thanks for all you do!

Been receiving care at Mt Tabor Dental for five or six years now. Best dental care experience I've ever had and I've been going to dentists regularly for my whole life. They are kind, play good music, have the tools necessary to make procedures and cleanings as easy as possible, and are exceptionally skilled.

The office visit was great. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I stopped going to my other health care provider because I was not happy with the service. I have already made my follow up appointment. I have recommended family and friends to make appointments.

Every single time I've visited this office I am amazed as their professionalism, dedication, kindness and skill. I am treated as a person - my feelings matter. I have dental anxiety and they have been incredibly patient - and at this point, it rarely happens in their office. Dr. Knight is very skilled and personable - and he is supported by a staff that reflects the same - They all also helpful and go way above the norm in how they treat their p atients. I don;t even mind going to the dentist anymore.

Beware. Zero empathy dentist. Profit first business. Just another "tooth focused" dentist who doesn't know anything about gum issues. Does not listen to clients needs. Scoffs and rushes you out if you have additional concerns. Even the hygienists are novices. B minus, at best, cleaning. If you value proper care, stay away.

Wow am I happy that I made the switch to Mt Tabor Dental! I've been treading water with KP and then Gentle Dental for the last 6 years and never fully trusting of them. After my first visit with MTD I'm so happy I made the switch. My cleaning and exam were so thorough and my kind hygienist went above and beyond explaining to me what they were going to every step of the way so ensure my comfort.

Nothing but good things to say. Admin staff is attentive and helpful, waiting room and building are nice, the hygienists I've had are well experienced and do careful, thorough work, and the lead dentist is professional, trustworthy, and amicable. Highly recommend.

The doctor is straightforward and skilled. He's not judgemental, but he won't coddle you either. Take his recommendations for care. The staff are all personable and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions thoroughly.

I brought my dad to Mt Tabor Dental to get his teeth checked because he has been having a lot of pain and Mt Tabor Dental took care of my dad and made him feel better. They did what my dads previous dentist couldn't do and I recommend this place to anyone! Great & friendly staff as well. Thank you Mt Tabor Dental!

Spectacular experience. So quick, professional, clean, and also deeply friendly and kind (and funny!). I came in with massive tooth pain and they did my X-Rays and filling within an hour. I felt really informed about every step of the procedure and really appreciated them checking in about what I could/couldn't feel. I will 1,000% be back here. Also, Hallie is the best! :)

Great team. I hate the dentist, but my gal, starts with an M...was funny and made everything super smooth and oddly comfortable. Doc Knight was great as well. Very personable. The whole team is amazing. What a great cavity experience. Lol. Cheers!

I would not recommend Joseph Knight. However, the staff is awesome. They are friendly and thoughtful. My orthodontist sent me to him to have X-rays done. Dr. Morrow has been my dentist in the past. There was an issue with my left bottom molar. We spoke about my tooth for less than five minutes. I felt as if he did not care about me. I felt I was being rushed, not heard and not given the care I deserved. He told me my bottom left molar was infected and should be extracted. He sent me to the front desk to make arrangements for the procedure and sent me on my way. I did not feel the respect and care from him as I did from the previous dentist, Dr Morrow. I got online to look for a dentist with who I could feel comfortable. I went to Willamette Dental Lents and Dr. Thao Chu was accepting new patients. I saw her this afternoon. She is amazing! She explained in details the condition of my teeth. The good news and the bad news, which Joseph Knight failed to do. She explained in details the need for the extraction asap. She scheduled the procedure and wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I asked her why Joseph Knight did not write me a prescription? She asked me when was the last time I saw him? I told her 01/03/2021. She looked confused and answered "I don't know "!! Disappointed with Joseph Knight and impressed with Dr.Thao Chu. A good thing happened in a bad situation. Thank you Joseph Knight for pointing me in Dr Thao Chu direction. The Dr. who shares compassion, kindness, peace of mind, and safety for her patients! Thank you Dr. Thao Chu Sincerely, Donna Marshall

I'm returning to this review after 4 years to switch it from 5 stars to 1. They have a new dentist since COVID, and he's negligent to the point of causing real harm. I needed a painful tooth to be fixed when I came in for it a month ago. He said I needed a crown, and I was not allowed to schedule the appointment until a month later even though I was in daily pain. When I returned a month later, he said it had now progressed to the point of needing a root canal, which never would have been necessary if I'd been treated in a timely manner. I see this as serious negligence, and I am now looking to switch dentists ASAP. On top of poor care, he also needs to improve bedside manner and show some compassion when patients have dental anxiety. His level of unprofessionalism is really remarkable--I've never experienced such bad "people skills" with any other medical provider.
