Dr. Derek Zimbardigraduated from SUNY Binghamton in 1992 and received his post- graduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Zimbardi then performed a 2 year post doctoral General Practice Residency at LIJ Medical Center from 1996-1998. He has been in private practice since 1998 and is a current member of the ADA, NY State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. Vincent Vomerograduated from St. Johns University in 1995. He received his post- graduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1999 before completing a postdoctoral General Practice Residency program at New York Hospital from 1999-2000. He has been in private practice since 2000. Dr. Vomero is a current member of the ADA, NY State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. James P. DeNunzioreceived his B.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame, and his D.D.S. degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. He continued his training in the General Practice Residency Program at Nassau University Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. DeNunzio worked in private practice while also serving as Chief Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital. There he focused on Implant Dentistry and also provided clinical instruction at the School of Dental Medicine. Dr. DeNunzio is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society.

Dr. Hwang and her staff are the absolute best. They really put my needs as a patient first and have taken great care of my teeth. I've been to many dentists, and now I drive over 60 miles just to have my visits there.

Dr. Hwang is a wonderful dentist - she listens to her clients and is kind, attentive, and patient. She eases your anxieties by explaining what she is doing as she performs the procedure. You are in amazing hands and everyone is fantastic at Mt Sinai!

I had a great experience.i was treated by Dr Swang, she was amazing! I was explained step by step my procedure .i was treated for fillings and root canal with Zero pain .I def recommend Mount Sinai Family dental for every different procedure you may need..

I love Mt Sinai Family dental everyone is very nice the front desk as well as the ladies in the back assisting the doctor"s . The doctors are amazing professional & very caring . The hygienist's do an excellent job as well . I just had a deep scaling / deep cleaning by the hygienist Joanne she was very gentle took before an after x rays and showed me that the tartar under the gums was gone . Definitely going back & recommending them to family & friends .

My entire family have been patients at MSFD for years and we all love it there. The doctors and staff are thorough, patient and attentive. Highly recommend!

Dr Hwang wanted me to have all four of my wisdom teeth extracted because she claimed I had bad cavities in all four of them. I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out I have a small cavity in ONE wisdom tooth and it can be fixed. She made it seem so urgent that I get 4 teeth ripped out for literally no reason. You don't get to tell people to get work done when they don't need it. You don't get to tell people to have perfectly healthy teeth extracted. I don't see why she would tell me something that's false. I won't be returning here. Stay far away.
