Dr. Loan Mao is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed four years of dental studies at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During her years in Buffalo, she volunteered her services to rural communities in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, servicing over 200 patients including children with special needs. Realizing her passion for treating children, she went on to obtain a specialty degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California. She also completed one year of extensive training at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in treating children with special needs such as autism, cleft lip and palate, cancer, varying syndromes, and blood disorders.
Dr. Maos practice philosophy is centered on providing a safe and fun dental home for children, while maintaining excellence in dental care. Her goal is to offer every child a nurturing and caring environment so they may grow into healthy adults with no dental anxieties.
Dr. Mao is an active member of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Ninth District Dental Society.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice!!! My daughter has always been nervous about going to the dentist, and Dr. Mao and her hygenist Jessie both have an incredibly calming influence on her and know how to get her to feel comfortable and relaxed. I am very happy we moved to this dental office. I would highly recommend.

They are Calm, Consistent and Kind, Wonderful with Children of all ages, Accessible, Afford patients a Welcoming Environment Tailored to Children, Offer Plenty of Services, Are Wonder Communicators, and are Great with Dental Anxiety. The whole staff and Dr Mao are very patience and gentle. My kids always leave smiling. Ive never waited when I arrive, they always takes us to the exam rooms quickly. 10/10 would recommend this place!

Our family loves Dr. Mao and all of her staff. Everyone is kind and patient. Our kids, 4 and 6, began going at 2 and while the first appt was scary for each, they were just fine after a few minutes and each visit thereafter. They love going to the dentist. Highest recommendation from our family!!

Dr. Mao and her staff are amazing. Words can't express how grateful we are to them. My boys have been with her since they were 1 and 2 years old. Now my boys are 6 and 11 years old. I drive from NYC to come up to Mt Kisco because of her. I refuse to see anyone else. We are so happy with her. You rock Dr. Mao.

I can't say enough great things about our visit with Dr. Mao and her team. My two (5 and 2 year-old) very fidgety and sensory sensitive boys were supported and extremely well cared for throughout their visit. Dr. Mao was patient, thorough, and she took the time to answer all of our questions honestly. We were taken as soon as we entered the office. The office was child-friendly and welcoming, and her team is kind and efficient. My oldest son is still talking about "how nice that dentist was" and is looking forward to his next visit.
