Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I just recently moved to the area and had a terrific experience at this office! Dr. Jessee and the team strive to go the extra mile for patients so they walk out of the office satisfied.

Dr. Jessee is a new dentist there. She and her staff were great and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

Worst dentist I've ever been to. Walked in with pain walked out with pain. Spent 2 hours there and it was a complete waste of time. I explained over the phone very clearly, what I had going on and why I needed this addressed asap. They ...

I had the opposite of a pleasant experience at this dental office. They suggested a more in-depth cleaning but I turned it down and opted for the regular 6 month cleaning as I regularly go to the dentist and take care of my teeth. I paid ...

My entire family started going to this place a year ago. Crowns they put in did not stay in and were put in improperly. One actually had a sponge left inside of it. My son also had crowns that fell out and he had to go back 3 times to fix it. He WAS paying almost $500 a month to pay for his implants that they kept putting off and he still does not have. Every time he had to go back for them to fix their mistakes they were charging him! My small son has complex Tourette's and Julien would yell at him and get upset because he was scared and twitchy. She knew in advance he had issues but she was still mean. And now they keep calling me and cancelling the appointment and trying to reschedule for another month out. I fired them today as I need a dentist and not a daycare. I do not recommend this place for anything. Run don't walk away.

This place is filled with dentist that act like used car salesmen. The tell you that you need work that you dont. Then they do the work you do need your in pain for at least a week. The girls up front have an attitude and not very polite. This place is by far the worst dental office I have ever seen...

Have lingering fear of dentists from many years ago, I put off going regularly. This visit was so much better. They understood my fears and eased my nerves. Procedure was much better than expected.

Don't let them do that Cerek crown in that office. It looks and feels like a fake tooth. Which it is. A computer generated tooth. Come on doctors, stop taking advantage of patients. Probably the only good dentist there is Dr. West. She is only there a couple days a week. But the owner looks for work that doesn't really need to be done. That is awful. WOW! I thought I had a credit balance of $100. It turns out they were holding over $300 of my money to be applied to future work. I very often have no cavities and go in for a cleaning and x-ray and it is covered. But apparently this awful office looks for work. Now I have to wait 3-4 weeks for my check. They said to me so you want the money. They should pay me interest on that money. Please stay away from Dr R Julien. I would give this office no stars if I could. They should refund my $2000 for those awful crowns. I don't want to go back and have her re do them again. They already tried to fix it. Just trying to find an honest dentist who does the old fashioned crown work that is covered by my insurance.

It is the worst clinic ever you will find I. Your life Even the team they don't know how to treat with the patient they feel that they are owning the clinic and even the clinic manager call Jean has Un-professional attitude to deal the patient I didn't recommend this clinic to anyone at all Really has a very bad experience even before start the treatment The worst dental clinic you will find in your life and the team over there have Un respectful and not professional to speak with the patient

I am disappointed to have to share this feedback. Currently, I do not recommend them. They rush when sharing (not explaining) about services. Seem exasperated when questioned for more details (just for understanding). When my current services are done, I'll be looking elsewhere for my dental needs .... if the service and customer service doesn't improve.

This post is written on behalf of my 85yo father, who had a very frightening and unprofessional experience at MJ Dental Group. I chose one star only because no stars was not an option. My father is in good health and has been diligent with his oral care his entire life, last cleaning/exam mid 2021 with no issues. He lives in the MJ area and came to see Dr. Julien when his insurance changed. Essentially Dr. Julien and this practice took extreme advantage of him and depleted all of his coverage for the entire year on the first visit. He was there for FOUR hours while he underwent 12 X-rays (12!), a deep cleaning (can be dangerous on an elderly patient), had a 30+ year crown removed because they found some decay, was fitted for a temporary crown with permanent pending but planned for root canal first and also another tooth pulled. Reminder - his last cleaning was 6 mos prior with zero issues and he was having NO pain or other problems; he was only there because he was due for 6mo cleaning and he wanted to establish with someone locally. His bill ON THE FIRST VISIT was over $4000 with an estimated $3000 to be paid later after the rest of the work was completed. He was asked to sign a contract to commit to these payments but fortunately only signed for the work that was done. It is apparent the plan of care for my Dad was for Dr. Julien and her team to reel him in for multiple procedures, likely including a dental implant later after pulling that tooth. After we quickly realized what was happening, he paid in full for services already rendered and cancelled future appointments/procedures. He has now returned to his previous dentist with his temporary crown in place and will have to pay cash for any other dental needs for the rest of the year. I have years of experience in geriatric medicine, and it is very poor practice to search for issues on an asymptomatic patient of this age. If you go looking for problems, you will likely find something but it is judicious to correlate these findings with clinical presentation, aka how do they look and feel. He was having no issues and was just trying to patronize a local business. SHAME ON YOU, MJ Dental Group, for having no conscience about delivering this type of care. I don't know how you live with yourself for taking advantage of anyone but especially someone on a fixed income with limited dental coverage.

The best dental group I've been at my entire life! I moved here from Georgia and was looking for a new dentist. Luckily I called on a Friday and most offices are closed but this one was open. I called and they got me in the next day!! The whole team and staff is amazing and friendly. Special shout out to Janelle, Dr. Julien/Anthony. Vanessa and Dr. Staff! Wonderful experience and I will be a forever patient for as long as I'm in this area!!
