Stephanie has been a dental assistant for over 14 years and loves what she does. She is always their to hold a patients hand or walk them through the details of a procedure. Her favorite part of dental assisting is establishing relationships with patients (especially with the little ones)Sheis currently transitioning to patient coordinator and enjoys the new adventure. She has a little farm with her husband of 11 years with their two boys. They spend their summers at local rodeos and love escaping to the coast every August for a big family camping trip.
Dr. Zenger (AKA Dr. Z) is Oregon-raised. She attended Grant High School, where she discovered her interest in dentistry during a weekend elective. She spent 4 years in Salem at Willamette University before coming back to Portland to complete her dental degree at OHSU. Her love for treating and caring for patients has only grown.Outside the office, Dr. Z spends time with her husband, twin baby boys and her dog. The family likes to get outside to enjoy what the PNW has to offer, from Mt. Hood to the coast and in between. Their favorite activities are hiking, fishing and sipping a good cup of coffee on a rainy beach day.ph here.
Dr. Brown is aPortland Native and grew up in southeast Portland. She attended John Marshall High School,Portland State University and Western University of Health Science in Southern California for dental school. Dr. Brown helpedstart on off-site studentran dental clinic for patients without access to dental care while in dental school. She started in the field of dentistry in 2002 as a dental assistant and hastaken on many rollswithin the field, such as office and financial manager. She has beenmarried since 2005 to her husband she met in middle school. They have two beautiful children.The family enjoys camping and hiking. Their favorite place is Lost Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
Hello! My name is Amber and my childhood dreams came true 9 years ago when I received my Dental Hygiene license. I loved going to the dentist when I was a kid and I hope to instill this same passion into every one of my patients. With the help of Dr. Brown, I hope to prove that dental visits do not have to be scary and painful, they can be fun and rewarding. I love going to work everyday to educate patients, and take care of their oral hygiene. At home, I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters who are 5 and 7 years old. We enjoy being outside whenever possible hiking, camping and loving the outdoors. Some of my own hobbies include crafting, quilting, running and golfing. I look forward to meeting you!

Dr Brown and her team are amazing. I have struggled with big time dental anxiety for years and they always go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable. There was a time where I would have rather died than get a root canal, but Dr Brown literally made it so easy and pain free. Not only are they great with the "no fun"stuff, but they offer some amazing cosmetic stuff too. If you are a person who hates the dentist like I used to, give Dr Brown and Mt Hood Family Dental a try!

Highly recommend Mt. Hood Family Dental. I have been a patient since the start at this location and recently needed my first real dental procedure: a root canal. I was nervous. After the root canal was completed, realized nothing to be nervous about. Dr. Zenger performed the root canal and I felt she did an excellent job of keeping me comfortable and informed. I had no pain afterwards and my tooth feels normal again. Very happy to get rid of the pain the root was causing.

All the hygienists are very kind and have great conversations with you, and they'll take the tools out of your mouth for you to respond Dr. Brown and Dr. Z are both very kind and have great conversations with you as well! Everyone is also very gentle on your teeth while ensuring a thorough cleaning. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist office!

As always, my dental experience was great. Amber the hygienist was super friendly and great to talk with. Teeth cleaning was excellent and easy. They are always checking to make sure you never have discomfort no matter what procedure is being done. Everyone in office is super friendly and gets you into appointment on time. Dr. Brown is awesome. Recommend them highly.

The staff at MT Hood Family Dental are top notch and I have never felt more comfortable with any kind of doctor or dentist office before in my life! They are all so professional and friendly and courteous and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of top rated dental care. They have helped me to overcome my fear of the dentist!!

I love so many things about this dentist office, but I especially love how they treat my kids. They are so respectful to even my littlest, talking everything through, showing them the tools they're going to be using and how they work. You can tell they care so much and it's just wonderful.

Everyone on staff was very friendly and Ashley, the hygienist who was helping me that day, did a great job. The cleaning was really quick with very little discomfort and my teeth felt clean. The good conversation put me at ease. Dr. Zinger was also great and friendly. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I have had a lot of bad experiences with dentists in my life. Thankfully I found Dr, Brown. She is very careful and gentle and even through extraction and implants she has never hurt me. also, very meticulous about the quality of her work. two years ago we moved 2 hours away but we still take the time to come to her for all our dental needs. My whole family uses mt. hood family dental

There were several different dentists/technicians named Sarah and they were all very nice! Lots of friendly chatty people who didn't mind if I didn't chat back because there were dental tools in my mouth, haha. This is the first dentist that's found my wisdom teeth, which is a blessing and a curse. I'm super glad they found the teeth before problems erupted... but now I have to deal with wisdom teeth. That's not their fault, though, so I'd give them five stars :^)
