Seeking the same small town community he enjoyed growing up brought him to Sandy. 'Settling in Sandy and being blessed to raise my family in this community is the best decision my wife and I have ever made. We have thoroughly enjoyed our associations with neighbors and members of the community. It is home.'

'My philosophy as a family dentist means treating my patients as if they were my own family members in the chair. I strive to treat each patient with the same care, compassion, and expertise that I would if they were part of my own family. When I recommend treatment to a patient, it is the same recommendation I would make if it were my wife or daughter. I believe that is what every patient deserves and is what I am passionate about delivering.'Dr. Hansen is proficient in and enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes pride in delivering high quality care to all his patients. He is a firm believer in lifelong learning and recently earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in the pursuit of education and proficiency in all aspects of dentistry. Currently Dr. Hansen is an active member in the American Dental Association, the Clackamas County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He and his wife, Nancy, are the proud parents of 6 children. Dr. Hansen loves spending time with family, being involved in the community and serving within the local schools and church groups. He feels especially blessed to live with his family in the beautiful surroundings of Sandy, Oregon.

Sharon Receptionist Sharon started working at Mt Hood Dental Clinic in 2007. 'Being a member of this fun team, who are also very professional and caring individuals, is a rewarding highlight of my life.' Out of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, family & friends. Her hobbies include dancing, gardening & collecting unusual garden art.

Angie - Dental Hygienist After growing up in Hermiston, Oregon and attending Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, Angie graduated from Oregon Health and Science University with a Bachelors of Science degree in dental hygiene. She started working for Dr. Hansen in 2000 and resides in Sandy. When not working she is rarely home and keeps busy running her four daughters around to and from gyms, soccer games and softball games/practices. She and her husband love traveling with their kids and being active in their lives by volunteering and coaching.

Stacy - Dental Hygienist Stacy grew up in Gresham and graduated from the Mt. Hood Community College dental hygiene program. She has been a hygienist for many years and joined Mt. Hood Dental Clinic in 2005 after moving to Sandy. Stacy enjoys helping people improve and maintain good oral health. Stacy also likes that she is able to develop good relationships with her patients and co-workers. Outside of the office Stacy keeps busy with her husband, grandkids and extended family. She enjoys spending time in her garden, reading, quilting & church activities.

Rose - Dental Hygienist Rose has been practicing dental hygiene since 2009, prior to that she worked as a dental assistant. She moved to the Portland area from Eastern Oregon in 2003 to attend WOU, she now lives in Sandy. Rose started working for Dr. Hansen in 2010 and loves the tight knit, family-like atmosphere. 'I feel so blessed to have such incredible patients. I am very lucky to have wonderful co-workers and a work place I truly enjoy coming to. It is refreshing to come to work knowing what we do for our patients is honest, quality dentistry.' In her spare time she enjoys reading, running and traveling.

Katie - Dental Assistant Katie graduated from the Portland Community College dental assisting program in 2005 and has been assisting since. She joined Dr. Hansen 's team in 2011 and recently moved to Sandy. Katie really enjoys dental assisting; she states, 'I love working in a dental office that cares so much about the overall oral health of the patients. It is great that I get to work with such a fun team, all who are dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients.' When not at work Katie spends as much time as she can with family and friends.
