Dr. Moynihan received his Doctor of Dental Medicinedegree from theBoston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicinewith induction into theOmikron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society (awarded to those graduating in the top 10% of the class), Lambda Mu chapter, and also graduatedmagna cum laude.He then received hisCertificate of AdvancedGraduate Studyinorthodontics and dentofacial orthopedicsfrom Boston University and is board eligible. He also has his degree in Economics from Boston University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Dr. Moynihan has over 20 years of experience in providingtreatment with conventional metal braces, clear braces, andis aPreferred Invisalign provider for those who qualify. Currently, Dr. Moynihan is a clinical assistant professor in orthodontics at Franciscan Children's Hospital and Boston University.

He has also won many awards for his research including the ADA/Dentsply award andFirst Prizein the 2014 Boston University researchconference, and also the Quintessence Awardin 2015. He continued his education at Boston University to specialize and earn a Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studyinorthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Moynihan is currently board eligible.
