Dr. Scott A. Mouzon DMD is a native of Charleston, SC where the dreams of becoming a dentist started at the early age of 15.He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1997 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. After joining the United States Air Force and being commissioned as a Captain, he completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi.He was stationed for two additional years while proudly serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Dr. Mouzon married his high school sweetheart, Tonya, in 1999.They are the proud parents of two handsome sons, Peyton and Parker.He enjoys spending time with his family participating in many outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, water sports, hunting, and fishing.
Tammie Sparks is our Front Office Manager. She has been in dentistry since 1991 and with Mouzon Family Dentistry since 2006. With 30 years of experience, Tammie is the first smile you will see and is excellent at answering all questions patients may have.
Tonya has been working alongside Dr. Mouzon and his staff since the practices infancy to help with necessary bookkeeping and accounting duties. She also is very good at greeting our patients and helping in making them feel like family.
Laura is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and joined the dental team at Mouzon Family Dentistry in 2013. She graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2011. Laura is very good at tending to our patients needs and making sure they feel comfortable.
Cheyenne is our newest employee and dental assistant. Cheyenne was trained at Capstone Career Development Center in Greenville, SC. She acquired certificates in both Chairside Dental Assisting and Dental Front Office Administration. She really enjoys being a dental assistant because she loves helping people feel better about themselves, especially their smile!

My husband and I, as well as our son's family, have been patients of Dr. Mouzon for several years. He and his incredible dental team provide expert care in a very professional, yet friendly and comfortable manner. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for dental care.

I have had a fear of dentist since I was 9 years old and was slapped by a childrens dentist for biting him. So all my life I have been afraid of dentist and even getting my teeth cleaned. Moved to the area and Dr Mouzon was referred to me. Thank God I only had to have cleanings for the past two years. The unmentionable happed. I cracked a crown and now had to really get dental treatment. Dr Mouzon was amazing. He addressed my fears and then went to work. I didn't have any pain and he was very understanding. The whole staff was amazing especially the poor receptionist who has to deal with everything. I love this practice and hope I stay in the are for a long time and that Dr Mouzon remains my dentist.

When I am looking for a dentist or a surgeon or even a hair stylist, I want them to be picky. I want them to be a perfectionist. I want them to see the little details that most people miss. That is what you get with Dr.Mouzon. I have moved away from Clemson, but I still drive back to his office. I have never been able to trust another dentist work like I do his. He is a great problem solver and can help you come up with different options for your situation. He and his staff have always been very patient and very kind to me and my family. I would rate them 10 stars if possible!

Dr. Mouzon and his team are professional, kind, and compassionate. Dr. Mouzon has been the most compassionate dentist I have ever seen. He takes the time to meet both my dental and personal needs, communicates kindly and honestly, and helps me to understand how to take the best care of myself. Talking to Dr. Mouzon about my dental care does not feel like a lecture as I have experienced before, rather it feels like talking to someone that actually cares about me and my health.

I'm a new patient and find Dr Mouson and his staff to be fantastic. His work on my teeth so far is excellent. I plan on using this practice going forward for all of my dentistry needs. One thing that stood out to me is he tries to remedy the problem with the easiest solution and not try to get you involved with very expensive solutions if not needed.. Keep up the good work Doc!!!
