A native of Maine, Dr. Cormier is thrilled to be providing the highest level of care for patients in Kennebunk and neighboring communities. At a young age, he knew he wanted to be a dentist. He loved working with his hands, was passionate about studying medicine, and thrived when helping people.
Dr. Cormier attended the University of New England (UNE), where he received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology. Upon graduating, he became quite the accomplished researcher working for UNE and a startup biotech company, focusing on pain management and drug discovery. Dr. Cormier published several articles containing essential research findings on chronic pain and ways to manage it. He has found his research background has served him well in helping patients to manage their own pain by providing them with the latest advances in medicine.
After working several years in the research field, Dr. Cormier enrolled in UNEs Dental school and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During his time at UNE, he did a rotation at Goodwin Community Health, treating low-income patients. Dr. Cormier is humbled to have been the recipient of several scholarships for his clinical skills, public service, and academic performance.
With his background in pain management, Dr. Cormier takes proper steps in managing the comfort of each of his patients throughout their care at Mousam River Dentistry. Dr. Cormier emphasizes preventative care and his patients take an active role in developing a comprehensive, personalized approach to promote overall health. Dr. Cormier is always accepting new patients and we do our best to see same day emergencies. We look forward to welcoming your family to our dental home.

Dr. Cormiers patients are his top priority, but when hes not at the office, you can find him enjoying all that Maine has to offer in the great outdoors. Dr. Cormier is married to his wife Krissy where they reside in Saco with their daughter, Hannah, and their black lab, Denali. Together, they enjoy hiking, skiing and playing pickleball.

Awesome dentist office! Everyone one there is exceptionally nice and professional. I absolutely recommend this place. I'm eating candy right now and trying to get cavities just so I can go see them again sooner.

I've been going to this dental practice since I moved to Kennebunk. The practice was taken over by a new dentist a few years back but there was no change in the stellar care and service. Lauren has been "my" hygienist for the entire time. She is fantastic...very knowledgeable AND gentle (a big plus in dental work!). I highly recommend Mousam River Dentistry!

I have moved around a lot so I've been to many different dental practices. This one is my favorite. They are kind, practical and do such a nice and thorough job. I highly recommend this practice.

I absolutely love the care and attention at Mousam River. The whole staff is kind, gentle, and always willing to take time to answer questions. I see Lauren for my cleanings and she is outstanding! I feel like I'm catching up with friends when I go because of the comfortable and welcoming environment.

We have been a patient of Dr Wyman for many years. Now we're being shoved out the door after he retired. I found out a week before our appointment that we now have to pay cash because they won't take our insurance any more. 4 people 900 dollars. Not willing to work with us, they don't accept care credit. I don't know why I have dental insurance, but they only take delta. Not really a FAMILY practice anymore. No choice but to cancel all of our visits. This practice is ok if you have money to fork out.

Having had several bad dental experiences in the past, I approached the process of finding a new dentist with a lot of anxiety. I was especially bothered by the number of dentists who are now pushing "vanity" services, such as Botox. Where can I find a dentist that focuses on dentistry? I am so glad to say that I found not only such a dentist office, but an office I would recommend without reservation. I've had several dental issues addressed over the past months at Mousam River Dentistry and every single one has been a pleasant experience. Both Drs Cormier and Palmer are exceptional professionals, good at what they do and remarkable in the caring way they do it. I had the opportunity to interact with just about everyone on staff and was so taken by how warm, friendly, and professional they all are. I am already looking forward to the appointment I have scheduled for next year. Not only has the office restored my teeth, they have also restored my trust in dentistry.

Dr. Cormier is the guy to see. Dentistry can be anxiety provoking for me, but Dr. Cormier is a great combination of friendly/warm and knowledgeable/professional. I trust him completely to give me exactly what I need, and nothing that I don't. So glad to know that he'll be a local resource for years to come.

Dr Wyman should be proud to have turned over his dental practice to such skilled and caring dentists and staff. We were Dr Wyman's patients for many many years. We had tremendous confidence and trust in him. Dr Cormier and Dr Palmer as well as all the staff are skilled and are patient care and comfort oriented. It can be seen and felt that they enjoy their work. They are not simply doing their jobs. That is a real plus! We feel blessed to continue to have our dental needs met at Mousam River Dentistry. I can't say enough great things about Mousam River Dentistry. I have been in several times over the last 2 months due to fillings and fracturing a tooth. (OUCH) but Dr. Cormier and every single dental assistant that has helped has been incredible. Even with a tooth broken in several places, Dr. Cormier made sure to make it a painless process! He checked in with me several times and made sure to explain everything thoroughly! Their entire staff has been phenomenal and you can really tell they all love their jobs and get along. It's a great environment! Highly highly recommend!
