A native of Maine, Dr. Cormier is thrilled to be providing the highest level of care for patients in Kennebunk and neighboring communities. At a young age, he knew he wanted to be a dentist. He loved working with his hands, was passionate about studying medicine, and thrived when helping people.
Dr. Cormier attended the University of New England (UNE), where he received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology. Upon graduating, he became quite the accomplished researcher working for UNE and a startup biotech company, focusing on pain management and drug discovery. Dr. Cormier published several articles containing essential research findings on chronic pain and ways to manage it. He has found his research background has served him well in helping patients to manage their own pain by providing them with the latest advances in medicine.
After working several years in the research field, Dr. Cormier enrolled in UNEs Dental school and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During his time at UNE, he did a rotation at Goodwin Community Health, treating low-income patients. Dr. Cormier is humbled to have been the recipient of several scholarships for his clinical skills, public service, and academic performance.
With his background in pain management, Dr. Cormier takes proper steps in managing the comfort of each of his patients throughout their care at Mousam River Dentistry. Dr. Cormier emphasizes preventative care and his patients take an active role in developing a comprehensive, personalized approach to promote overall health. Dr. Cormier is always accepting new patients and we do our best to see same day emergencies. We look forward to welcoming your family to our dental home.

Dr. Cormiers patients are his top priority, but when hes not at the office, you can find him enjoying all that Maine has to offer in the great outdoors. Dr. Cormier is married to his wife Krissy where they reside in Saco with their daughter, Hannah, and their black lab, Denali. Together, they enjoy hiking, skiing and playing pickleball.
