Dr. Cory was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Cory lived in Oregon working with underserved patients. Dr. Cory has lived in Montrose, CO since 2008. Dr. Cory is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Cory enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his sons and his two labs. He is an avid skier, fisherman and loves exploring the local mountains and trails on his adventure motorcycle.
Dr. Cory is committed to continuing education and averages 100 hours a year of advanced training in implants, dentures, same day crowns, cosmetics, six-month braces and many other areas of dentistry. Dr. Cory is skilled in dental implant placement and is a member of the International College of Implantologists which advances the study of dental implant surgery and restoration.
McKenna graduated from CNCC in Rangely, CO and is very passionate about maintaining beautiful, healthy smiles. She is known for her gentle, caring personality and will always make you feel comfortable and cared for during your dental cleanings.
Katelyn is our treatment and financial coordinator here at Mountain West Smiles. She will help you with understanding your treatment and financial situation in a caring and compassionate way. Katelyn loves working in the dental field and helping patients maintain a healthy and beautiful smile.
Katelyn is from right here in Montrose, CO. She and her husband are happy to be raising twin baby boys. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the beautiful mountains of Colorado, hunting and fishing.
Dr. Cory and his staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to help their patients. I have had three teeth suddenly break. Dr. Cory was able to fill one and crown the other two. All three were taken care of promptly and in one visit as Dr. Cory is able to build and apply the crown in office. The procedures were fully explained to me in advance and the cost of treatment was very reasonable. I've never had any trouble or pain associated with the repairs. I also have very sensitive teeth and Dr. Cory, as well as his hygienist, have made sure that treatments and routine cleanings are done in a way to prevent any discomfort. Dr. Cory will continue to be my dentist as long as he's in practice. Abby H.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Cory and his hygienist McKenna for several years now and have always gotten excellent care. Dr. Cory and the entire crew at Mountain West Smiles are personable, professional, and a pleasure to do business with.

Mountain west is a very professional practice with lots of experience to go along with that. The receptionists have top notch customer service and make you feel welcome when you walk in the door. The dental hygienist does a great job cleaning my teeth and being very friendly and professional. Dr. Cory and his assistant are also very personable and professional. Everybody at this office does a fantastic job.

I went to this facility a few years back searching for dental resolution. I had bad teeth that were causing several other medical problems due to my poor dental health. By no surprise to me he suggested I get full dentures. While I was still in the chair during my consultation, he explained that it would cost at least $10,000 ! I said that was impossible within my budget, as I am on a fixed income with disability. They didn't accept my insurance, and had the gall to assume that I had family members that could take on the cost, obviously up front or at time of service. Not to mention his poor bedside manner. I was stunned that he would even go there! It was offensive. He was more concerned about payment rather than helping me with my dental and health concerns. Very arrogant. I don't know how he stays in business. I would NOT recommend his services to anyone even my dog!

We finally found a wonderful dentist in Montrose. Been to all in one dental and Stucky and by far Ken Cory and his wonderful staff is the best in town. Very friendly staff. Ken Cory is wonderful and talks to you and not at you. Makes you feel comfortable from the time you arrive to when you leave and the same can be said with the staff. Thank you all for making our appointment worth coming there and making the visit comfortable.

After 40 years my dentist retired, I was scared to try another dentist and after months of searching I decided to try Dr Cory's free cleaning and X-rays offer, thought what did I have to lose, it was just a cleaning and it was free. I was impressed from the start, they were happy to schedule my cleaning and called when they had an opening to get me in earlier . I did get in earlier and thankfully, they found an infection that was starting. I was not having any trouble, just needed a cleaning. The X-rays showed the infection starting. There was no push sales pitch that I needed to have this taken are of, Dr Cory explained everything to me and let me make the decision. I left thought about it and decided to have my problem taken care of. They took me right back in and fixed my problem. Dr Cory was so easy I didn't have any discomfort at all. I would give Dr Cory and his staff double stars if I could. Awesome doctor, great staff, I felt like I had been going there for years. I have found my dentist The plans they offer you, anyone can afford to have their teeth taken care of.

Love this place. Everytime I walk in with or without my two year old son we are always welcomed with first name. I have yet been able to get comfortable in the waiting room because I'm always called back quickly. Have had some serious work done here. Everytime Dr. Cory with staff will make sure I fully understand my options.

Going to the Dentist is necessary but not fun. I have never left a review anywhere before, it is my pleasure to do so here. Dr. Cory and his entire staff work hard for you, from scheduling to caring for your overall comfort and health. They do a great job, work as a team and I appreciate all they do for me!

I have never had a good experience with any dentist until I found Dr. Cory. He does excellent work and cares about doing what's best to keep your teeth healthy! I will never go to anyone else for my dental needs since finding Dr Cory. I trust him completely!

I like this place. It's funny to say about a dentist office but they treat me respectfully, they text me about my appointments and they have a good dental plan (which is much better than what I feel dental insurance ever offered me) I highly recommend them.
