As a young personI experienced orthodontic treatmentas a patient, and the experience made quite animpression on me!I was amazed at the process, and also the skill and personality of the treating doctor.From that momenton, a career in orthodontics was in the back of my mind.
As a doctorI give myvery best to each patient that walks through my front door. As part of that commitment, I enjoy making the process of orthodontic treatment a fun & positive life experience that my patients will always remember! I feelfortunate to interact with so many wonderful kids and familiesevery day. In particular, it gives me great joy to help young people feel good about themselves - this is the reason thatI decided to becomean orthodontist.
I was valedictorian of my class at St Augustine Prep High School;I received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University in 1995which I attended on full academic scholarship;My Doctor of Dental Medicine degree was earned at the University of Pennsylvania in 1999;I continued on to the University of PittsburghMedical Center for orthodontic residencywhere I completed my Master of Dental Science and received my Certificate inthe Orthodontic Specialty in 2002.
I am committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in the orthodontic field and frequently attend continuing education seminars. Some specific professional seminars/presentations that I have given reflect some of my personal areas of interest:
I am New Jersey native and have lived in the Princeton / Montgomery area for over 15 years. I enjoy the outdoors,spending time with my wife Nicole, and also especially love Labrador Retrievers and the Atlantic Ocean!
Our office makes significant donations to local schools and has provided thousands of dollars of financial support to our patients in various fund-raising, educational, and extra-curricular endeavours.
I have been involved withOperation Smile, which provides free specialtycare to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children. I have alsoworkedwith the local animal welfare organization serving the greater Princeton area called SAVE(right next door to our office).

I cannot say enough about Dr. Wilbur and his Staff as I now have 3 daughters with the most amazing smiles! We were new to this process with our 1st daughter and before committing to Dr. Wilbur we went and visited a couple of Orthodontic Offices and so grateful we came across Mountain View Orthodontics as we truly made to best choice and got so much more than we anticipated. Extremely professional and pays so much attention to every detail from start to finish...He truly cares for his patients and wants to be sure he delivers the best results. On a personal note, Dr. Wilbur is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he is 100% genuine! Thank you Dr. Wilbur for all you have done for us and continue to do! Dr. Wilbur is absolutely wonderful. He had done bracing for both my daughter and son, both with truly amazing result and smile. He and the staff are thoughtful, well organized, professional and fun. Dr Wilbur's treatments are always careful and meticulous in every detail. Definitely recommend to everyone family and friends.

My oldest child has completed the treatment, my middle is almost finished, and my youngest has enjoyed several years of supervision and periodic interventions -- so I can speak based on a lot of experience, all of which has been wonderful -- superb final results, and very professional, competent, and reassuring process of carrying out all the treatments, earning Dr. Wilbur enormous gratitude both from the young patients and their parents!
