Dr. Shayne Guffey brings a genuine passion for dentistry to the care he offers his patients. While he loves the technology, biology, and craftsmanship of his profession, its the interpersonal connection with each person that brings the ultimate fulfillment to his days. He believes dental care starts with truly caring about each person.

Dr. Guffey thrives on the teamwork found in providing excellent customer service and dental treatment. Hes intentionally focused on building a team of diverse professionals at Mountain View Family Dental. Hes proven that the skills and care of many trained providers blend together to create an unmatched healthcare experience for his patient family.

A native of Oregon, Dr. Guffey attended Oregon Health Sciences University before moving to Arizona in 2003. Hes a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He attends numerous continuing education courses to support his mission to provide the finest dental care possible. He also believes each patient deserves the opportunity to explore options for their care, finding affordable alternatives or plans to help them enhance their wellbeing.

Dr. Guffey and his wife, Michelle, have four sons, and they enjoy spending time in the outdoors.An active volunteer at his church, he also commits time to Boy Scout activities. When he gets away, he loves hiking and backpacking. A favorite memory from hiking across the West includes a trek along part of the Continental Divide in the Colorado Rockies recently.Dr. Guffey also enjoys a good book, especially by Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman, or Neal Stephenson.

Dr. Temp grew up in the mountains of Colorado, but she has enjoyed living in Arizona since 2000. She received her undergraduate education at Brigham Young University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Dr. Temp earned a degree in Behavioral Science and an Elementary Education teaching certificate before attending dental school at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa.

Dr. Temp maintains a strong commitment to continuing education and personal growth. Her advanced training includes an emphasis on dental implants, conscious sedation, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and many other areas. She loves learning and focuses on expanding the services she provides to her patients.

Dr. Temp's compassion and commitment to excellence support the mission of Mountain View Family Dental. Her patients appreciate her warmth and kindness, along with her ability to bring exceptional dentistry to all ages.

Dr. Heath Snell is an Arizona licensed general dentist who provides Mountain View Family Dentals IV sedation services. He was trained at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and the Audie L. Murphy Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

It was there that he gained the needed training to perform more complex surgical procedures such as extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, the placement of dental implants, and a certification for IV sedation.

Dr. Snell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University before attending the University of Colorado, and while at the U of C was nominated into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society.

Dr. Dickerson attended Arizona State University, and studied dentistry at The Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He is always striving to further his dental education and stay on the cutting edge of dentistry through numerous hours of continuing education courses each year. Dr. Dickerson has completed extensive ongoing certifications, including becoming certified as a provider for implant dentistry, 6 Month Braces techniques, Invisalign technology, and same day crown system.

Dr. Dickerson and his wife, Deanna have been married for 10 years and have four children. Together, they enjoy hiking, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. They are thrilled to raise their family in the valley of the sun close to their families!
